QUOTE(Benjiro @ Mar 17 2012, 20:44) Am at my cousin's and was finally playing syndicate. A very good first person shooter.
Is it good? I'm skeptical when it comes to FPSs, but the graphics and the whole cyberpunk thing is a big draw in for me. QUOTE(tentacle-man61 @ Mar 19 2012, 09:54) The endings in Skyrim were dissapointingly anticlimactic, such as the fact that the final act of the "Reunification of Skyrim" quest-line doesn't involve you annihilating the faggot "Aldmeri Dominion" cult. Seriously, the game ends when you haven't freed the Empire? WTF?
I'm hopeful future DLC will remedy that.

I don't care much about the graphics, but it got me hot as soon as I read about the (cyberpunk) backstory. It is basically a creative FPS, in other words, a good one, for a change. It has some RPG elements, but so far, they only limited themselves to combat. I gotta say, though, that I didn't have much time and only reached the first of the seven or so bosses. The atmosphere is swell and the whole "corporates control everything" setting is nicely integrated, e.g. humans unaligned to any big corporation are treated like shit and randomly killed by agents for shits and giggles, and stuff like that, basically... If you have the spare money, I'd adviuse you to check it out, or just steal it from the net, but it's definetly worth playing, whether you're a fan of FPS or not! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Gosh... I feel very tingly about eventually buying that game for my PS3.... Thing is, Prey 2 and RE6'll come out this year.... Gotta set some priorities....

When I hear the name Syndicate in the context of vidya games, I think of this squad based tactical RPG from nearly two decades ago.

So, I got to play [ en.wikipedia.org] Journey today. Pretty amazing all around; I had little nitpicky complaints about the camera and flight control, but overall it was fantastic, albeit short. I see great potential for this in multiplayer. ...Oh wait, it's a PS3 exclusive. I don't have a PS3. Well, fuck.

That's because you know about good games! (Yes, I DID play the first one.... at least I remeber watching my cousin doing it all the time when I was a little shitter) Also, Rob, You should watch some reviews or demos first, my post was kind of.... over-enthusiastic, and I really don't wanna be responsible for you throwing out 60 bucks for something that you might not even like. It's a reboot of it. QUOTE(Benjiro @ Mar 20 2012, 09:09) Also, Rob, You should watch some reviews or demos first, my post was kind of.... over-enthusiastic, and I really don't wanna be responsible for you throwing out 60 bucks for something that you might not even like.
It might be awhile before I would buy it, honestly.

shenmue HD coming out. There's never any real difference with these HD releases to the original in my opinion but I'll still shamefully waste money & buy it as I loved them on Dreamcast

Would you like to try a game of Lucky Hit?
Do you know of a place where sailors hang out?
What can you tell me about the four Wude?
Do you know anyone who can read the Chinese language?

Ugh, I had tried to get a game "Kamidori Alchemy Master" to run on my computer, but I just can't seem to get it working! This is probably the first game I have to wait (hope) that someone uploads it prepatched, fuck my incompetent ass.

I am actually kind of glad that there are still no news on Prey 2. Gives the whole thing the feeling that the developers are working on it 24/7.

Koo still hasn't fixed the 5 on title screen Reimu partner card even though she is a stage 4 boss in Imperishable Night. The actual partner has the right stage.
Minor and totally harmless typo since that's not the actual partner card, but it's been in the game for about two years if I recall correctly.
LLTYT : Fuck, you only have to load the game to grab the monthly title.

Apparently I'm decent at fake drums as long as I don't have to use the kick pedal. And by decent I mean I'm playing most of the songs on Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock on expert.

I don't know who the hell is writing the Earthbound wiki, but they're fucking retarded. Every single person responsible for that travesty.

Dear Rad,
You were so right. I'm sorry.

Dear Capcom,
Fuck you and your shameless sequel-hyping endings.
I'm already amazed anyone has the balls to add an extra stage to a game that is an exact fucking copy of the previous final stage, but to have the "true" ending be such a bizarre, wholly unsatisfying "twist," leaving us with absolutely no closure at all, you must genuinely despise and want to punish the people who gave you money. "The Truth Hurts." You're right, it does. That's what I get for gambling with an untested game from a publisher with a bad reputation.
Well, thanks for teaching me a harsh lesson, Capcom. I promise I'll never give you a dime of my money again.
Sincerely, 413
P.S. I did actually like Asura's Wrath enough that I might steal the sequel and see how it ends up.
