Today's game development became nothing more than a production.
And I mean production only, no inspirations, just working at higher graphics
as possible to earn a little "impression" & keep selling.

That makes me sad, back in 96-04 we had games that was made by
trully inspired developers & became legendary because they deserved it...
Today, developers like those are extremely rare >_>

I can only think of a few off the top of my head that actually give a shit, and all of them are gooks.

Fumito Ueda, Tomonobu Itagaki and Tetsuya Mizuguchi.

I still like Suda Goichi. Of course, I don't follow gaming news.

Off the top of my head, when I think of Western games from the last decade or so, I think of generic FPS/TPS and sports games and ultra-violent/vulgar action games. Occasionally there's an awesome fantasy or sci-fi game that comes out.

Maybe BioWare as a collective.

But probably not.

Like "Mighty Jill Off" which is the biggest pile of shit ever made! How you can ruin Mighty Bombjack is beyond me but they managed this amazing feat.

I should totally finish rewriting the code for my mod's New Vegas port, but I totally don't feel like it.
