Okay, its more visible now, but I can't actually use one. Seems to only be a problem with DL Fonts since it works correctly with the HV Font Engine and Custom Fonts.

I think the Aura's need to be updated to reflect the elemental changes as well.

Not 100% sure but they've not been touched in quite a long time - just making sure they're not overlooked.

Some after thoughts regarding this patch.


1) With the increase in base values of EDB gear, how will proficiency gear (elementalist, D-F, H-S) play out for the time being? Even with the old weaker EDB equips, perfect proficiency gear never came close to its similar EDB variant. You've hinted that you might remove proficiency from the spell damage formula altogether, so this is probably not a big deal, but I was just wondering what your current plans are regarding magic proficiencies.

2) I'm not sure if you've noticed this but the change to elemental ratings made soul a lot weaker compared to the other elements. Soul is the only damage type that doesn't have an elemental damage boost from equipment so the increase in those values wouldn't offset the reduction to soul damage. Are you planning to make alterations to how soul damage is calculated in the future or considering adding soul to one of the EDB types?

Nice update, a buff for melee is always welcomed and the new light armor seems very promising. Now that Silk armor pieces are virtually useless now... guess I'll have to start searching for the whole new armor set... again.

I will miss Shield armor with resist, only found one decent piece.
However, I very like dualwield prof +dmg, now I'm 2hitting all custom mobs. ^^
All pieces of same type armor for bonuses is somewhat expensive if want have all of them good, but i suppose that is the point.

That's a pretty big assumption you're making. No one has a full phase set with maxed EDB. Not even close.
You're lucky to find more than one max EDB piece of the same element.

Even conquest doesn't have a full set and he's the closest one I know. He has some pieces that are close to it, but not max.

I am interested in the "Proc Effect" part of the monster's skills. Does this mean that our monsters might be able to use skills like the Trio? Or have even more options then that? Personally I am hoping for a "Renew" or "Spark" skill.

over all this patch has had a positive effect on my character, I ran my harder arenas(60, 50, 40) first thing they morning and didn't even need to use a single item. compared to the 1-2 healing/mp pots prepatch, however like everyone else wearing heavy armor, my burden has dropped but my interference has sky rocketed +10-20 points (one-hand/shield heavy style). and my block rate is .1 lower so not much change there.

also if you do not mind my asking what is the new max block on shield cuirass? my 5.99 cuirass went to 5.94 (assuming a 400 point level factor hasn't changed)
