The winning bids on my auctions where:
Fair Phase Pants of Mjolnir - winner tmihor with a bid of:
550 Crystal of Vigor
550 Crystal of Finesse
550 Crystal of Swiftness
550 Crystal of Fortitude
550 Crystal of Cunning
550 Crystal of Knowledge
Fine Shade Boots of The Fleet - winner vampirial sin with a bid of:
50xfiness
50xswiftness
50xfortitude
50xlightning
50xfrost
50xtempest
50xcorruption
150xdevotion
300xquintessence
Just to clear up any confusion with people who bid more crystals; I calculate the values of the crystals based on the price I pay when buying them. Although some may have bid more crystals than tmihor his crystals were all attribute crystals and therefore had a higher value than the other bids.
As for why I used a Blind Auction/Sealed Bid Auction, I think it's a fairer and more convenient method than an English Auction. It offers the following advantages:
1) The bidder doesn't have to be on-line at the end of the auction, so it's less hassle, less time consuming and less stressful.
2) It allows the bidder to take their time and consider what the item is worth and then place a bid accordantly.
3) It avoids bidding wars which can send the price far beyond the value of the item.
4) It saves me the hassle of updating the current high bid every day and avoids me having to create another thread for auctions (IMG:[

I personally think all auctions should be done this way, though the lack of bidding wars can potentially be a disadvantage to the seller. In this case I'm happy with the bids so will list a few more blind auctions and see how they go.
