QUOTE(Fanservicefan @ May 10 2012, 08:06) Anyone else having as hard a time adapting to the changes as I am? Without Shatter Strike, I'm having to burn through Godly Health Potions during the Arena and Grindfest like no tomorrow. And do maces have some inherent lower accuracy or something? Missing four times in a row and falling to a critical hit isn't my cup of tea.
The attack accuracy bonus on maces sucks, even of Balance ones. If you want to use a mace you need to make up the AAB with your gear or stats.

Who or what is Heartseeker? I figured an equip-bolstered dexterity stat of 152 and an 88.7% hit chance would prevent cheap losses. Somehow, I miss even when the enemy is stunned!

Its a spell you get at lvl170, increases your accuracy by 50%, crit chance by 10%, damage by 25%.

You can read about it here: http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Spells#Supportive_MagicBut you'll have a long way before you'll got it, it unlocks only on level 170.

Scanning The Lone Wanderer... Monster Class: Humanoid, Power Level 217 Edit: in case it isn't obvious, I was complaining about the new spawning system (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) This post has been edited by Tiap: May 10 2012, 19:13

Monster Class: Humanoid, Power Level 217 Edit: in case it isn't obvious, I was complaining about the new spawning system (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) At least the lowbies wont be meeting Eila, the other Eila, and Lisi every round (you guys already strong enough to thrash all of them in a hit or two) PS At least my monsters finally see some actions, albeit some Killing Blows. Before, it was all about Eila, the other Eila, and Lisi hogging the spotlight.... This post has been edited by Coma: May 10 2012, 19:34

You make it sound like there was some sort of favoritism or bias. They appeared more often because people spent more time and more money upgrading them, simple as that.

Well, it's not like your monsters spawned every other round all the time 'cos you're Da Boss' pupils. That much is clear. Still, the level 200+ rounds quickly became the turf of a small set of critters. An oligarchy, if you want, at the expenses of several other people who invested a lot in their critters too, albeit not as much as you. And while I understand your PoV on this, i still find refreshing not having to face the same 4-5 monster on heavy brainwash rotation.

I agree. Eila -> Eila the 2nd -> Liselotte -> Lisette, and repeat. Fuck this.

This come from someone who recently shrined and acquired a Redwood Staff forest. Do you still believe that the system somehow dont try deliberately screwing players over by selecting things/monsters they would want the least? I understand that higher level monsters like Eila and Lisi should deserve more spotlight because they have invested a lot of crystal in her. But screw it when I reach level 200 and start seeing the Full House (Eila, the other Eila, Lisi, Lise, Elizabeth) every single round. Having more Exp bonus means scat when these yanderes start killing twice for every turn I make. For all I care, let these yanderes show up for level 300+ players, but please not hogging spotlights in 200-299 range. This post has been edited by Coma: May 10 2012, 21:30

I don't know what all the whining is about.
Humaniods die easily against every style of play and give the most EXP because they're all the highest PLs.

Do you still believe that the system somehow dont try deliberately screwing players over by selecting things/monsters they would want the least? Where's that Tenb quote along the lines of "Understand probability already." From what I gather of your post you're saying that you understand that high level players have worked hard to get their monsters up there but that you just don't care because it'll make things too hard for you. It's not like the presence of those high class monsters breaks the game or anything. Certainly, they appear stronger then the other monsters but it really isn't as big a deal as you keep making it...which is why you shouldn't complain about things you haven't even seen yet. For the record I also appreciate seeing new foes, but I do understand that a lot that time/work spent on crystals must feel a little wasted to those with the highest class monsters. Perhaps a slight tweak to the chance of getting gifts is in order, though I'm not sure how likely it is as I thought a surplus of materials was one of Tenboro's fears when the forge first opened.

Humaniods die easily against every style of play and give the most EXP because they're all the highest PLs. It's boring to see the same monsters every goddamn round. And I personally don't care about EXP since I've got Rainbow Aura. Also powerleveling is pointless after lvl 260~270 IMHO.

I love how people continually lower their standards based on their own bias and level.
inb4 I say "There's no point to leveling past 400."

This +1: QUOTE(mustardpie @ May 10 2012, 22:58) It gets boring having to kill the same things over and over and over again........ (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Clearing hundreds/thousands of rounds everyday doesn't bore you, but seeing some monsters more often than others does?
