Killspeed. Mace is much slower than Estoc or Scythe.

Using a power armor set with one Shield piece mixed in and a fast weapon I don't die much more then before the patch.

We're talking about light armor, not heavy armor. Of course you can use anything with sharded heavy set. But for light armor there is only one option now - mace. Using estoc or scythe will transform you into a punching bag.

Well I've bought mine though. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Just watch the WTS, especially now when everybody goin' nuts 'bout estocs. Also you can make a thread in WTB like "Wanna buy a kickass mace", it helps sometimes. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The new mace I recently got my hands on has really helped my survivability in hourlies, with its higher stun chance and accuracy. I already sold off my old Ethereal in WTS.

Using the equipment scaling calculator, this is what your mace's stats would likely be at your current level.

Level: 133 -> 218
Weapon Damage: 562.62
Attack Accuracy Bonus: 18.62
Attack Critical Bonus: 9.06
STR: 43.38
DEX: 5.99

I don't think <100 players can buy a mace like that.

Exactly, just keep camping WTS and Bazaar and eventually you can land yourself a cheap eth mace (I aint complaining about the cost because I am too lazy to camp 24/7)

Anyone else having as hard a time adapting to the changes as I am? Without Shatter Strike, I'm having to burn through Godly Health Potions during the Arena and Grindfest like no tomorrow. And do maces have some inherent lower accuracy or something? Missing four times in a row and falling to a critical hit isn't my cup of tea.

Use Regen. And start saving money for an ethereal mace. Their cost aren't so high nowadays.
