TBH IWBTH hourlies are so worth it. The exp is amazing, and the best part is that you get mostly godlies. So essentially it's a good pot restock, lol. I usually get 2 mana godlies minimum, sometimes 3 + 1 spirit.

I've said this once, but here is my strategy again (and I think it's rather safe)
_ Haste/Scroll of swiftness first. Or if you still feel unsecured, stack them. You will have the time to do 2-4 turns before they react.
_ Spark/Scroll of life(god)
_ Shadow Veil/Scroll of shadows. If you have 25+ evade, no need to stack them. But stacking is never a bad thing (unless you are running out of items)
_ Arcane focus to buff your damage output and accuracy
_ At my lv, I use X-Nerf next, but it's not important.
_ Blasting 'em with your strongest spells.
_ When spark pops, cast it again. When low on spirit, use a spirit pot (godly prefered). Invest some in spirit tanks.
_ Rinse and repeat
_ ...
_ Profit!

My strategy:

SoL on IA.
1st turn: Haste + Arcane focus. Blast them away.
If SoL proc next turn, Greater spirit pot + godly pot. That's enough for 2 more SoL procs, which is when everything dies.

maybe I should have used my Superior Mace of Slaughter as the weapon. It's the best mace with 30/4 I have, so far.
While the mobs are stunned, I try casting silence/weaken on them, if possible also throw some poison around.

Stick with the scythe, but use heavy instead. Will work much better with bleeding.

This is fun for levelling up quickly, but hurts the credit pocket & profs wise.

You can. Just level up fast, and you'll slow down anyway.

Or, you can be like me and respec to remove all attribute points from exp tanks. I still get about 2-3 levels a day currently, just doing IWBTH hourlies.

Personally, unless you have an ethereal weapon, I would say shield. You can get up to ~15-20% block chance with an average shield set.

Ah, me wish me had the $$$ to do more shopping...I would really like to get a good Ethereal Mace :dreaming:

That's why I said to use shield armor. Much better when you can't kill everything quickly. At least you get around 20% block chance with an average shield set.
