Well, there's always the Avion #1, Avion #2, Avion #3 etc. option but names seemed a bit more unique and less awkward if you can have the system ignore or replace invalid characters.

Or just use a different prefix tag for names that contain invalid chars. So instead of 蹂躙の爪牙's Avion it just turns into Greater Avion, Derpy Avion, Flying Avion, Insert Adjective Here Avion.

Well, I must be new or something...

My chief complaint is leveling gear.


How, in the name of all that is sane, can you feasibly level your gear to a satisfying level if you have to play through hundreds of matches (e.g level of item = number of matches) only to clear the item and have it's level increase by 1??? Or 2, or 3, or 4... only to add that many more rounds the next time you decide to level that item!


Basically an ever-increasing annoyance. The item leveling system is flawed.

For starters change Difficulty & Levels Gained to:

* Easy: 0 or 1% level increase.
* Normal: Guaranteed 1%, possible 2%.
* Hard - Nintendo: Guaranteed 1%, increased chance of 2% with each higher difficulty.
* Battletoads: Guaranteed 2%, chance of 3%.
* IWBTH: Guaranteed 2%, higher chance of 3% than Battletoads (most likely).

3% on a level 300 item = 9 levels.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you have one very beautiful and potent staff.

Can't say I have any kickass gear to speak of. Tenboro took it away only 2 hours after I got it. (via patch, true story)

What cheeses me off is the assumption that everyone who does arena has the money and tokens to do all thier arenas. Ever since the new patch I can only do a handful before my health and mana make me unable to continue on and I do not have too many healing tokens. This idea could have been done better, like it only affects someone who plays arenas on difficulty higher than hard or something.

Why are there no phazons in item shop, unlike any other upgrade item for light/heavy? Were they all bought out when patch hit, or were there none to start with?

The new version of HV is pretty bad.

No auto-heal after the arenas is lame and playing as a mage sucks and takes all my MP and I have to use up way more mana items. So much so, it's stupid. I went back to my ancient melee fighting style for the arena battles just to save on mana. Not that it's a bad thing, I can kick ass, but I want to play as a mage. All around, HV is awful.

And please, whatever you do, don't ever put a second quickbar in there.
