I can't understand why my Ragnarok hits monster for only 20-40k (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) And over 300k after Imperil... Looking at Monsters' HP, it seems that wiki HP formula is correct, indicating 0.1*base_PAB*level. Elemental resistance is low, at most +40-50%. I did calculate by wiki, but the error is huge. My dark score is 88439 without critical, x1.1 title, x1.3 hath perk, x3.12 Dark T4, x2 AoE primary target, and it's 789158. Monster lv.428 with 25 END/WIS (big over-estimation) will take 14.3572% or 42.78% damage (by old or new formula), plus warding -20%, there's still 90640 or 270080. Take in resistance of 42% (typical 1000PL resistance), it's 52571 or 156646 average non-critical damage at main target. That's way off with real damage I dealt.

schoolgirls? absorb uses less mana over the long run if you want to use spirit shield all the time then you need to bring in a lot more spirit pots then you use to. soul harvest/reaper aren't working as well as they use to. mana shouldn't be much of a problem if still use shards (or other stuff to keep mana costs down) but then just use focus if you need to.

If you keep getting drained by spells(elemental/soul damage) maybe it is time to use absorb.
