Yeah, I lost almost a percent of swift strike on each of my dual wield weapons (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Seriously, why get rid of the quality bonus. Giving every weapon the same exact amount of potency seems kinda boring. It makes more sense that higher quality equips should get more potency.

So elemental profs are useless?

No, I'm saying that particular staff has a very poor prof bonus for an Elementalist Staff. Look at this one, for example (still crappy because no WIS and poor MDB, but it has a very high Elementalist Prof). You'll note it gives almost twice the Elemental Prof bonus.

This and this are examples of decent Elementalist Staves. I do not believe new Redwood can even drop with MDB that high outside Destruction, but it can definitely match the Prof and PABs. Honestly, of the new Redwoods, I think the best one for a Niflheim mage might be a Legendary Arctic Redwood Staff of the Elementalist.

Oh. Okay thanks. I'm melee and thought a +30 prof is quite high. Now I know it's not sellable.

So Katalox is now the only Staff worth using?

New Ebony just does not kick it and made Elementalist mage even more worthless.
