Seriously, why do we have no less than 3 monster classes that can trivially attain 75% resist to 3/4 elements (25 levels of resist is only 13185 Crystals)? 2 of those with above-average END and the other with high WIS for MMI to boot?

WTB monster with native 50/50 Holy/Dark resist. Or at least let me troll the melees with a Void resist crystal/Chaos Upgrade (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Or just knock 25 Cold or Wind resist off Mechs or Undead so Cold/Wind only gets trolled by 2 types of monsters same as all the other pairings, that works too.

Because those monsters are hard as fuck to upgrade? More resists maxed out means more crystals you'll need to spend to get to a certain PL, true story.

I fail to see how monsters with a quick early payoff (o hai PL 100 Elemental with 4x75 resists) costing more to hit silly high PLs compared to things like Sprites that need mountains of crystals to even attain basic effectiveness is considered a bad thing. Especially when it doesn't kick in until you've dropped at least a million credits worth of resist crystals on the thing.

Monsters who don't have anything maxed out allows you to spread the cost of crystals over more stats. Crystal costs go up very very quickly, that's why it's more efficient (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

You can make another monster, and the payoff time for the whole increases as you put more crystals in a monster anyway.

Although crystals costs dictate the +25 point efficiency at something like PL 750(500 if you run out of primary upgrades), their numbers are probably slightly skewed towards elemental ones. If you were to spread them evenly, you're looking at sth like 92372 crystals in elements, 79176 in primaries and PL of 457 tbh. Not too high, I suppose, but the ones that are impervious to element stop the wake of a spell more often, allowing for more kills from them even if they have lower PL efficiency, which is a trade off well worth it imho.

If I had to guess, I'd say people selling to a WTB store via mobile mail but not posting in the thread, causing confusion for other sellers and potentially for the buyer.

Auctions... I had decent items for auction and virtually no bidders... Then, I see auctions with massive bids on equipment that is similar to mine... There was an auction for an Exquisite Phase Cap of Fenrir with similar stats to the one I am selling and it sold for over 500k. I even messaged the other bidders telling them they could get a similar piece of equipment for less that half of what they were bidding, but no takers. Auctions are a waste of time when no one really bids on your items.

Umm. . . when? I remember the Staff Sale, but that was like 2 weeks ago. Did you slip one into that mad rush of auctions that finished at about the same time as ShiroKitsune's? That would be a problem, don't end your auction right before an auction with stuff people scrounge every last credit for.

As for the cap, link the competition's cap. I'm curious now what 'similar stats' means.

Not every one has a good idea of an items worth so shop prices can often be way too high or way too low. BTW GREED IS GOOD (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
