gee what is worth more to you,
your time wasted because you die
the cost in mana to keep spark up all the time
the cost to buy a scroll of life if you ran out of mana
the cost of a mana elixir to use as backup
You say that as if I ran in there naked. However I did not have Spark up on my first run. I took a break and decided to come back and try it again (This time with spark up after round 110). All was well and it seemed I would finish with about half my pack used when WHOOPS, my shards all run out when I was about 35 rounds away. By that point I still had 5 Mana pots and 1 Spirit pot. The full brunt of my interference screwed me up and I ended up running through them all and scraping by until I died just short of the goal again.
More than anything I was just a bit disappointed in how simple my mistakes were.
