And while we are at it: Today, for the first time in my HV Carrier I did all arenas, even the boring Marathons on IWBTH!

You say that as if I ran in there naked. However I did not have Spark up on my first run. I took a break and decided to come back and try it again (This time with spark up after round 110). All was well and it seemed I would finish with about half my pack used when WHOOPS, my shards all run out when I was about 35 rounds away. By that point I still had 5 Mana pots and 1 Spirit pot. The full brunt of my interference screwed me up and I ended up running through them all and scraping by until I died just short of the goal again.

More than anything I was just a bit disappointed in how simple my mistakes were.

Well, the more obvious issue here is that your equipments are simply not up to scratch for IW (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif).

I salved the piece of equipment shown on the left [sadpanda.us] here and what I got back is on the right. Where are my metals? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

I invested a lot of metals in that and all I got back was 1 low grade (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

I've been thinking of salvaging this. Would I only get one metal for that as well? Is that how it works?

Yep. You get 25-75% bindings back though.
The forge reset was about people getting back 100% of bindings. All hail free half of a Binding of the Wind-waker(ntrly, it was abused bug).

The MLP riddler questions seem a bit odd to me. I'm not one of those types that gets offended at ponies, but I'm not exactly interested in the show either. Requiring players to recognize a character by name, regardless of what show they are from, is very un-riddle like.

I did not notice it, I'll have to look for it next time it pops up, I'm low on HP at the moment.
