I wonder what 1984 would look like if they remade the movie.
It would look like the immediate aftermath of 9/11. That was a fucking interesting few months, and I was in high school so I was still relatively young.
Old movie, starring renowned actor John Hurt. Its pretty dry and a little abstract in some places.
Idon't want to watch it, I bet everything looks and smells and feels and tastes completely different to the image that imprinted itself into my mind after reading the book twice(the second time was for a school presentation,though (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))...
Also: I've got some new headphones. Not the best surprisingly good. I am especially satisied with the wuite wide range and the good bass and distribution. Much better than I expected from some sort of axe(I think it's called Lynx outside of germany) promo pack or watchamacallit... Whatever, they look cool, make a much better sound than feared and are quite comfy. I'm satisfied (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'm starting to really like this album from 30 Seconds to Mars. Still, its not something I would buy. What I DO need to go out and buy are whatever DevilDriver cds I don't have because I was listening to one of my DevilDriver cds earlier in the car and I forgot how much I used to love them.
I just saw 28 Weeks Later. I gotta say, it was much better than 28 Days Later. The only grip I had with it is that not ONE SINGLE FUCKING SOLDIER was placed on guard with the infected mother. Seriously? You place like 24 soldiers in one tiny hallways to protect civilians but you place absolutely no security on an infected and restrained woman? It was an obvious plot hole, they should have done something interesting to lure away guards, instead of just not placing any so the movie could advance.
I'd venture a guess you'd enjoy his stand up. You might have even seen one of his more often quoted... er quotes, from people online before.

Side note: can somebody explain to me why people like Coldplay? They win awards and it seems their stuff sells fairly well but I just don't get it.

Granted but I can appreciate or understand why someone would like a certain type of music or certain artist even if I don't particularly like it myself. I just don't exactly know who Coldplay appeals to and I can't seem to find anyone to own up to liking them that can tell me.
