I can't be the only one to think dubstep is the worst sounding shit on the planet.

QUOTE(Benjiro @ Dec 18 2011, 17:04) Phineas and Ferb is a pretty cool show actually.
I don't know why I love to watch Phineas and Ferb. Either it's due to the comedic rivalry between Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Perry the Platypus or Candace's endless effort to bust her brothers. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Sorry, advertisers, but dancing hamsters and robots do not make me want to buy your overpriced products.

Party Rock Anthem and an overall ugly car doesn't help either.

QUOTE(cptkleenex @ Dec 20 2011, 20:53) Party Rock Anthem
Is that what that song's called? What the hell? It doesn't rock, it's not an anthem, and if I ever heard it at a party, I'd leave.

I would think the proper display of introversion would be to slowly disperse, mumbling to ourselves and avoiding eye contact.

I just watched the movie [ en.wikipedia.org] Spirits of the Dead. It was very weird yet pretty cool considering that the majority of movies made in the 1960s were basically shit. It's done in 3 segments but I missed the first segment. This post has been edited by Tenseigamoon: Dec 21 2011, 23:55

The entire world should mourn his absence from the comedy world.

They still rerun episodes of the show and his old standup specials at all hours of the night. I really do miss him sometimes.
Last thing I thought: Why is it that whenever CC shows a new special by a stand-up comic who's black, they have to lead up to it with a marathon of other dark-colored comics? Just once, I want to see a Kevin Hart or Wyatt Cenac special with Bill Burr or Christopher Titus as the lead-in, or vice-versa.*
* Aside from Kevin Hart, everyone I mentioned there needs more stand-up love. And Mike Epps needs to stick to acting.
Edit: Oh, you know who's underrated and black? Corey Holcomb and Louis Ramey.

I'm no longer a comedy nerd, so I have no idea who most of those people are.

You've probably at least seen Bill Burr; he was in a few Chappelle's Show sketches. Also, I wanted to avoid saying Louis C.K., because every comedy nerd says Louis C.K.

Yeah, but I try to avoid most of the dark ones because I don't understand where they're coming from. Dave Chappelle had the gift of making his world universal, most of the other ethnic comedians I've run into have a very niche appeal where, if you're not Hispanic or African American, it just doesn't make sense.
