QUOTE(cathicklesquall @ Oct 12 2011, 21:11) When is this pony fad going to die?
When you crawl up your own ass and suffocate to expiry. ADDENDUM: You know, anytime someone mentions their disdain for MLP, it just makes me want to keep going with it. I was going to stop this at the beginning of 2012, but I'm not sure anymore. This post has been edited by radixius sparkle: Oct 13 2011, 05:26

Probably when season 2 has been canceled after a few episodes.

Anderson Pooper's new show that took over Oprah's old time slot is pretty good.

QUOTE(Benjiro @ Oct 14 2011, 16:52) That's.... not really his name, right??
AHAHAHA, that made me laugh so hard. It's Anderson Cooper, you silly little thing. Here you go, Banjo. You're German, you can handle this. Blughghg, I found that on YouTube when I was watching Family Guy clips. I was watching them do the voice-overs and a link led to a link which led to that. Another shocking thing is the guy who does Cleveland's voice is white. This post has been edited by Tenseigamoon: Mar 15 2012, 02:53

When people stop asking that question. The pony craze lives on attention. You just have to ignore it until it starves to death. QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Oct 14 2011, 21:55) Another shocking thing is the guy who does Cleveland's voice is white.
I'm shocked anyone would find that shocking. This post has been edited by FourThirteen: Oct 15 2011, 04:42

And the girl who does Lois' voice. It's shocking to see that awful annoying voice come out of a human being.

Just when I start to think modern rock may actually be as good as classic, George Thorogood or Stevie Ray Vaughan comes on.
Edit: I'll probably go my whole life without learning to spell the man's last name right, though.

I never heard of it, then i remembered that a genre is called like that. Might the name come from that show? QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Oct 15 2011, 03:55) Here you go, Banjo. You're German, you can handle this.
The fuck??(Yeah, right r34....) What does the one have to do with the other? Besides, I am not really ze germän, I'm just forced to live there, my parents are a bad case of mix breed. Apparently, through my veins runs blood from a total of five different nations. Germany making the sixth one not being in my blood. [ www.google.de] Not. [ scrapetv.com] One. (Sorry for DP, easier to oversee... Woo Rhyme!) QUOTE(Benjiro @ Oct 15 2011, 01:52) I ultimately didn't go. I just couldn't get over wasting 40 Euros to supposedly enjoy being pushed around by fat kids with terrible hair cuts in a claustrophobia-inducing crowd. Instead, I decided on using the money to fill up our refrigerator again. This made me have a very pleasant evening where i slacked off, watched ponies, an interestign documentation about catfish... And right now, i'm done preparing myself some awesome cream-and-onion-wraps, i'm gonna lean back now and rewatch Stargate season 6 while eating my awesome meal. You didn't answer my question, i'll post it again:
Does the label "Soap Opera" originate from that show?

Soap Operas have been around long before Texaco Star, child.
The name comes from the fact that soap companies, like Proctor & Gamble, were pretty much the sole sponsors of the genre.

No, soap operas were around before that show. I think Soap took its name from soap operas as it was kind of a spoof of them. I remember hearing that soap operas got that name because the commercials would advertise laundry detergent (called laundry soap powder back then) to the housewives at home watching them. Speaking of old shows, I'm in the mood to watch some Benny Hill. EDIT: Damn, Rad ninga'd me. This post has been edited by Tenseigamoon: Oct 16 2011, 00:09
