Scott Pilgrim Takes Off:

- Nice to see cameos by Simon Pegg & Nick Frost , appearing to be parodies of their characters in Hot Fuzz (2007), a movie written & directed by Edgar Wright.
- Wasn't expecting a parody of Edgar Wright, called Edgar Wrong & voiced by Kevin McDonald
- Wasn't expecting intimate Yaoi action. Sure Wallace is gay, but making out with Todd Ingram? Todd's now gay and a non-vegan.
- Initially confused by Al Yankovic's "special appearance" before realizing he wasn't voicing any character but was the narrator at the beginning of the episode.

Has anyone had trouble watching the last episode of a series or reading the final chapters of a book? Not because the titles is boring, but because you always save this moment for later. I ended up abandoned many titles that I would really like to fully familiarize myself with, but the feeling of the inevitability of the end after completing my acquaintance with them stops me from doing so.

English name for Satoshi, the main protagonist for the Pokemon anime series is Ash Ketchum.

The parody version in Johnny Test is named Blast Ketchup.

So, if there is to be a Malaysian parody version of a Pokemon trainer hero, I speculate his name would be Ashraf/Asyraf Kicap.

(Asyraf or its alternate spelling Ashraf is genuine Muslim name; "kicap" literally means soy sauce in the Malaysian language)

There's a FB group named "M. Night is a traitor to the Avatar fan base". So sour is their hatred.

There are a lot YouTubers who criticized Kung Fu Panda 4 as "trash" or "nothing". This is shortly after it was released. I waited and now the film now makes $180 million at the Box Office. Clearly click bait.

I was surprised to see that the movie Morbius I recorded from TV was from Marvel.
And then I understood: I confused it with Langstrom from DC.

Just watched Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and... Ya! A chicken (a rando though, not one of the main characters) has died on screen! The gory details were omitted obviously but the cooked nuggets in the next scene is pretty telling. Usually PETA would flip by now.

If "To Loveru" was split into several mangas aiming for different endings, it would be funny if in one of them, something like that happened:

Complaining Rebel Moon "isn't a complete story" is like complaining endings of the first two The Hobbit's movies. "Part 1" is literally in the title.
