Some dorks worried that Elemental might turn out to be "bad". It's a Pixar movie. Just go watch and enjoy it like a totally normal person rather than overthinking about classifying it into categories. Furthermore, anything by Pixar, Illumination, DreamWorks, along with Sony, Aardman and Disney are light-years ahead in terms of quality compared to something like The Progidy (2009).
It felt like Jack Slicer is a parody of Ramsey Gordon. Also the following line is hilarious: "There is no recipe! How can a dish be unique if you follow a recipe! That's why best selling cookbook has only blank pages!"
Watched Tad The Lost Explorer and the Secret of King Midas (2017) just now. My thoughts: 1. Tad Stones looks like a parody of Indiana Jones. 2. His love interest Sara Lavrof might possibly be inspired by Lara Craft, judging from her attire. 3. The main antagonist is despicable. In the opening, he sadistically had the guide whom he hired to track down Sara murdered, then killed his own henchmen throughout the rest of the movie out of frustration. Typical evil millionaire. 4. It's baffling that Tiffany Maze still haven't figured out Mummy is a living mummy after spending so much time together with the group.
Darcey & Stacey is becoming even more stupid, as if that was possible. I keep subjecting myself to this show that has gone down the tubes over the years. Why? I have no idea. Maybe for the gross-out factor. When they showed the huge dong bulge in that dude's pants that Darcey went out with, I grossed out on that, too, and I used to like meat gazing.
The hogs' lips are getting more like balloons every episode and it turned out Darcey banged Georgi (her ex) and no one knows about it, except the viewers who watch the show. Georgi slammed that dumbass Michael Benz down on the ground which I'm sure was scripted, and the once likeable Florian and his new denture looking veneers is getting to be annoying. Thank goodness the season finale is next week.
Alice's arch nemesis made his debut. His VA is Deven Mack, who also voiced Mr White (Johnny Test - 2021 version on Netflix), Winston Steinberger (Winston Steinberger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong) and Lab Rat (Grossology).
