I really should watch some non-anime series or films. I thought about buying a netflix subscription which cost $12 or so. Then I saw there is a cheaper version but only in SHD and even with ads and still pricey for that what one gets.

Some people are foolishly blaming Masameer County for the cancelation of Inside Job. The matter of fact is the Arab series is not "new" at all. Season 1 is already on Netflix since 2021.

Just watched one episode of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix and it's kinda depressing. A murder occurred in 2013 remain unsolved and the victim's family is still waiting or closure.

Lapis is the best episode of Masameer County S1 so far. Mother Lapis, a Mother Teresa-like figure died due to severe peanut allergy. So her death eventually led to shootout in an underpants store (probably would have been an underwear store if this is a Western cartoon) and subsequently caused a tank truck to crash into the store and explode. In the end, it's revealed Mother Lapis' charity work on orphaned children is really just a front for her child trafficking operations. This explains why her associate is a murderous thug and an employee evacuated the office.

Just watched the 2018 Spanish film Super Lopez. The tilular hero's origin story is a partial carbon copy of that of Superman. His hardship while growing up is likely taken from Man of Steel (2013). The female protagonist Luisa Lanas is a parody of Lois Lane. The synopsis says this goofy movie is based on a comic, so probably only fans of the original would truly enjoy it. For me, for a comedy film, genuine funny moments are pretty scarce. Budget must have been quite low, judging from the mediocre CGI and hardly no one noticed the UFO flying over the city and landing on top of the villain's HQ.

Last night's episode was so disgusting when Darcey wanted Stacey to shave her ass before her date (who stood her up at the last minute). It takes a lot to gross me out but I literally sat there feeling nauseated as they sprang this shit on us viewers. I couldn't even believe what I was seeing.

Love the ending of Masameer County's episode Latrine of Secrets. Two family tribes were supposed to reconcile after centuries of feuding only to end massacring each other due to a misunderstanding because two idiots decided to gossip in the toilet.

While I'm happy to hear that Totally Spies will get new season with the old cast reprising their roles I do have mixed feelings towards the character's redesign.

Velma seemingly confirmed for Season 2. Yay.

Fuck! Why did the studio have to 16:9 crop the Blu-ray version of Hey Arnold The Movie instead of keeping its original 4:3 AR?

There needs to me more series/films with "evil" protagonists or ruthless ones. (Death Note, Code Geass, Redo of Healer)
I can't stand the shy protagonists anymore.

It's cool that the Extended Remastered version of Terminator 2 swapped the original ending with the deleted one. The alternate ending is more conclusive, establishing that the future is safe, with Skynet and Terminators never came into existence. I have always thought it's the open ended nature of the theatrical version's ending that laid the path to Rise of the Machines in 2003.

Good job on the new remaster of Mystery Men. Most of the grains from the previous remaster has been cleaned up.

Just watched the cancelled movie Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too. I honestly thought Clancy Brown had reprise his role as Lex Luthor. Good job imitating his voice though.
