I mistook the new character in Season 2 of Team Zenko Go as Sam in new threads. From a distance they look very alike. That's really because the animators used Sam as the base to create Felicia.

Felicia made a few more appearances in Team Zenko Go Season 2. Good. I hate it when a new character was made and suddenly forgotten.

The final episode of Season 2 of Team Zenko Go hinted that an antagonist might appear appear in future episodes. Didn't see thing coming since the series revolves a team of kids doing good deeds in secret, not battling evil. I look forward to it.

I wish I was adapted to sleeping on the ground, it would provide more flexibility, but I have 2 enemies:
- crawling bugs
- mysterious existences that appear after a while, and are never mentioned in fiction even for symbolically dirty rooms:

I wish I had the culture to not be bothered by those (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It appears that the generic French and Russian words for "store" (FR: "magasin"; RU: "магазин") are remarkably similar
in how they are pronounced and look - the latter is true especially when romanized (RU: "magazin")

Quoting these words is also very similar, as Russian shares the same quirk as French in using guillemets

I wonder if there are more links...I wouldn't have thought the two languages would have much overlap!

Both series The Hollow and Hilda made their debut on the same year before coming out with new season two years later also on the same year. The big difference between them however is that the latter is based on a popular book series thus had a big following, whereas the former is new IP and its premise after its Season 1 conclusion is divisive among viewers. While I'm saddened that The Hollow was eventually cancelled, at least it did got a Season 2 where questions from the previous season are answered, the characters expanded with backstories and personalities, as well as their actions finally had a meaningful effect on them.

The concept of "lateness"/"being late"/an acceptable amount of time that can elapse
after a stated meeting or appointment time before anger ensues varies wildly based on given geographic location.
I don't like my local cultural standards for this...

Just the watched thd five episodes of the new Johnny Test on Netflix. There's a parody of Battle Royale game mode, silent films and that American company called Amazon. I was going to include the Terminator until I realized the evil baby robot is merely generic.

I dislike risk-averse films that simply retread familiar ground.
It feels like there is a dearth of creativity in new films being created in my area.
Surely this can't be an isolated phenomena, history doesn't repeat but often rhymes -
or some such saying to that effect.
I wish there was a way to extract whatever factors spur creativity from various eras, countries, and cultures
and condense that into a formula for it.
Though I imagine the result would eventually become, paradoxically, formulaic...

Why is Heathers so fixated on colors? Every character is seemingly assigned one,
and the transference/conference has special meaning.
Color is highlighted as early as the opening croquet sequence in which they all use color-coordinated balls for play.
The red ribbon worn by Heather matches her red croquet set, the green blazer worn by Heather matches her green croquet set, the yellow uniform worn by Heather matches her yellow croquet set.
Far later on in the film, the original red ribbon is passed-on to the green Heather as if to indicate some rite of passage.
Incidentally, this is the same Heather who wanted to play with the red croquet set initially.
She then adopts red as her color.
What was meant by all of this?
Red, green, yellow...

After watching the trailer of Deepa and Anoop, I noticed some similarities in its animation style with another show, StarBeam.

Watching late 1980s recordings of Aktuelle Kamera gives such an appearance of stability in the DDR right up until the very end.
I can't help but wonder what other societies may be in that phase of seeming for all the world to be stable and portraying themselves as such, yet in reality are standing on a precipice.

After watching a few episodes, it looks to me that Deepa and Anoop's art and animation style is a mix of StarBeam and Justin Time.

It's fascinating that butterflies are perceived so differently depending on culture.
The Japanese concept of butterflies symbolizing departed spirits is an interesting view - I quite like it!!
I wish I'd known sooner...this lends a whole new perspective to the inclusion of butterflies in works of Japanese media!

2 seasons, 40 episodes. Sissy Blakley didn't make a single appearance in Johnny Test (2021).

Hopefully, now that Deepa and Anoop is out, Kickstart can refocus on StarBeam Season 5.
