I thought of a kind of betting game earlier (based on japanese culture).
Participants in the playing area take a picture of their home where they either:
- tied a normal tereteru bouzu
- tied an upside down teruteru bouzu
- tied a rope without a teruteru bouzu
You win if the weather the next day correspond to the way you tied the tereteru bouzu, or you win if you didn't tie one (rope only) and the weather was against the majority of bets involving tereteru bouzu.

Must be the influence remnants of the fact that in Keijo, the sport is a betting game.
