It's good that the voice actors/actress in your place are real pro.

I once heard Indonesian-dubbed of Camp Lakebottom. I thought the female actress who voiced McGee was rather good, even though I didn't understand a single word that was uttered. I mean, if I enjoyed listening it, then the voice acting must be good.

I only saw the dub once though, as it was clearly a mistake by [en.wikipedia.org] Astro . The original Malay dub returned the next day.

I rewatched the Street Fighter 2 sequence I had extracted from the movie [en.wikipedia.org] City Hunter starring Jackie Chan, and I was surprised that for a very short instant, a character spoke in french. I guess I had the french version at some point, but I could have sworn it wasn't in french, and maybe even not in english. My memory really is not reliable.
I still think I would really really want to see an entire movie in the spirit of that short sequence though.

That trans-thing who won over a million dollars on Jeopardy finally got ousted by some other guy a couple nights ago. It was the champion for nearly two months.

I happened to start watching Jeopardy when it first came on and thought that is no way a woman, it's a man. I don't think it even had boobs, just a pearl necklace and makeup. It was pretty smart, though, and now it's way richer than any of us will ever be. Maybe now it can buy some boobs.

In the Street Fighter movie, why the fuck did Ken pronounce Ryu as "Rai-yuu" instead of "Ree-yuu"?

There are very few words in English starting with ry- . Ryan, Rydberg, Ryder and rye are the ones I have in /usr/dict/words. In three out of four, it's pronounced "rai".

As a word ending, "-ry" is common, and is usually pronounced "ree", but if nobody on the movie knew anything about Japanese...

When I first encountered anime, I thought Akane was this badass name pronounced like "Ay Caine".
