Haters wanna nitpick on my favorite movies? Fine then. I can nitpick too. Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows is dumb, because of a plot point involving a bomb used to cover up an assassination. That bomb was powerful enough to engulf an entire ballroom and the target was situated only few meters away from it. Why would a genius like Moriarty thought it's necessary to use a sniper in a terrorist bombing, only for Sherlock Holmes to discover clues and evidence of the sniper's presence and then use it to link the victim to Moriarty?

Fiery apocalypse after 2040 according to Episode 3 of Nostradamus End of Days. I'm convinced Earth's final fate is to become Venus' twin in the Solar System. And humanity is nowhere near to having the means to conquer other planets. Space travel is still its infancy but terraform planets into a hospitable place for humans is long way off.

I've watched the US dub for Noddy Toyland Detective. Some characters have apparently been re-dubbed (First Mate Stripes, the Naughtycorns, Pat Pat & the Pockets) while others retained still their original voice (Big Ears, Deltoid, Princess Sparklewing, Pirate Captain). Then there are those that sound the same or at least similar from the UK version but speaks in an American accent (Smartysaurus, Fuse, Clockwork Mouse).

After several more watching, I can say that Smartysaurus, Farmer Tom, Fuse, Clockwork Mouse, Carlton as well as the Fairies (except for Queen Sparklewing), the Builders, the Knights and the Ninjas, all their voices have been re-dubbed, aside from Noddy himself, First Mate Stripes, the Naughtycorns and Pat Pat and the Pockets.

Pat Pat speaking in lisps in the US dub sounds kind of annoying though.

There was interesting segment in Beyond the Unknown about the so-called "Van Meter Visitor". In a weird way I kinda feel proud seeing that the people of Iowa in 1904 had mistaken the official state bird of Sarawak as a creature of terror.
