Finally, I got the opportunity to watch Mission Kathmandu: Adventures of Simon and Nelly. The movie didn't win big points from me on story but the animation style is amazing - a mix of 2D (environmental surroundings) & 3D (characters, animals & objects), similar to the artsyle of another movie, Valley of the Lanterns. Whereas the latter had a fairy-tale feel, Mission Kathmandu uses a water color painting-like style for its surroundings.

Today, I heard a new way to refer to some people: "carpenter's dream". How fascinating. Is that why mankind didn't get exterminated yet, for this kind of entertaining discoveries of new way of expression that can be born over time? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) By the way, I let you imagine what kind of girls this refer to...

According to the first episode of The Alaska Triangle, more people went missing in Alaska than in the Bermuda Triangle and there are more UFO sightings in Alaska than any other states in America. That's new... to me.

Just found out Netflix's The Hollow had been cancelled. Too bad. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Season 1 started strong, with a WTF moment in its finale. Season 2 then had an actual story with choices/decisions/actions that mattered. So I was looking really forward what more the creators and writers (who I speculated are fans of Second Life) can come up with for Season 3.

One of the things that could have fixed the continuity in Michael Bay-directed Transformers trilogy is NOT sign up Hugo Weaving for the role of Megatron for three movies, NOT without a plan from the beginning. If the studio or director wanted Hugo Weaving for three Transformers movies, the script depicting killing Megatron in the first movie should have been amended. His resurrection in the second movie was unnecessary.
Moreover, the second movie ROTF also revealed he was working for Megatronus Prime a.k.a. the Fallen. In Transformers 1, Megatron went missing while searching for the All Spark, having been frozen on Earth for several decades. The Fallen could not have waited so long without action. Then in DOTM, there was a plot twist involving Sentinel Prime defected to the Decepticons. If so, Megatron would not have worked for the Fallen at the same time, because had the Fallen's plan to destroy the sun was successful, then the deal made with Sentinel Prime and human traitors would be rendered meaningless.
To fix this contradictory plot, the script writers should have divided the Deceptions into factions, like this: Megatron originally worked under the Fallen but decides to splinter to become his own master and thus the events that led to the first movie. In ROTF, Shockwave is introduced and both he and Starscream take over from Megatron as the Fallen's second-in-command. But in secret the cunning Shockwave actually harbors ambition to become the Decepticon's true leader. The Fallen's death at the end of the second movie finally presents the opportunity he was waiting for, after the deal with Sentinel Prime on Cybertron centuries earlier and then with selected humans on Earth, all done behind the backs of Megatron, Starscream and the Fallen, thus the events in DOTM.
There. By utilizing different main antagonists for each movie instead of featuring Megatron every time, the plot is now cohesive.

Damn, reading something somewhat properly translated, though not that well once in a while, suddenly either having fired the translator(s), or having the translator(s) brain(s) suddenly dying, thus being something very hard to read, possibly worst than a machine translation, this give pain to my brain. Actually, I feel like it may even affecting how I wrote just now, and maybe still now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

I've always thought the Squeaky Peepers in Abby Hatcher as females, but turns out they are all males.

Watched the "Waya Woman" episode of Mountain Monsters yesterday. Found it too dramatic to be real, just like Ghosts of Morgan City.

I think it boils down to spending too much time consuming media. Including older media that isn't shoved under their noses. It's a holistic gathering of cultural knowledge I think. I have a friend who watches movies with me because he wants to become more "cultured." We watched Dr. Strangelove the other week. It can also have to do with how engaged you are in your community, though; that's another way to become "cultured" by making connections and learning how to act in society, but that's another distinct meaning of culture I think.

TCM aired Gone with the Wind last night and I was surprised to see it on. I was so glad they didn't give in to the cancel culture fools. I thought good for them. It's one of my all-time favorite movies and I've seen it so many times I can recite dialogue. I even read the novel, or more like tome. Great stuff and Vivien Leigh is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect Scarlett O'Hara for the ages.

So the disappearances of people in Alaska are in part due to Bigfoot (according Alaska Triangle Episode 2)? Was skeptical at first but lessened a bit after I saw the footprint video. Can't be fake right? Right?

I think if I didn't know the author died, I would still think that novel got axed or rushed for some reason. There definitely are some things that completely didn't make sense, though there may exist "excuses" on why it got turned that way.

Now that Space Jam 2 have been released, hopefuly the programming schedule on Boomerang would go back to normal. One whole week of nothing other than Looney Toons was a stupid way of hyping up the movie.
