Just watched the finale of Magical Girl Friendship Squad. I now understand the reason for the word "friendship" in th title. Also, the creator must've taken inspiration a lot from Sailor Moon when creating this series.
Saw again the cartoon movie Justice League Doom. I thought that channel had made progress, but censorship was violent once again, it wasn't fixed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
On the movie itself, it has 2 quite good moments, but besides that, it's quite bland, it's a bit sad that too.
First, I mistook Aubrey Plaza for Abby Elliot, then confused between Jessica DiCicco & Jessica Nigri, now it's Colleen Clinkenbeard & Colleen O'Shaughnessey. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
I did it again. This time, it's Chantal Strand and Chiara Zanni. It's actually the latter who voiced Daring Do in My Little Pony, as well as Mariposa in Barbie, Amanda Carey in Hurricanes and Mimi Morton in What About Mimi?
I understand their thinking: Robot aren't living things, robots can't express emotions, destroying robots is like dismantling a broken down car, etc etc etc.
You say that, but then there's that episode of season 4 of Samurai Jack where it basically just covers the story of a robot that does have feelings, etc. that hunts for Jack because Aku is holding his dog (his only joy in life) hostage.
Also, My Life as a Teenage Robot was on Nickelodeon at the same time Samurai Jack was being shown on Cartoon network.

It was a statement that all life is precious, the way I saw it. And a statement on how even in a war the soldiers don't necessarily want anything other than to live in peace. Jack's moment of recognition says a lot.
The manga I'm reading, one character is obviously ending her speeches with "nya", but the scanlator wrote "ya" instead, and all the time, it's not an isolated error. This is all the more painful to me because I imagine that "ya" in the mouth of a muscular and/or commando-like big dude instead of a cute girl (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) No idea how it could possibly sound good in the translator culture (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)
It took several weekends but I've finally finished all Season 1 episodes of Dragon Tales. Ah, nostalgia. This was before Kathleen Barr, Andrea Libman & Chantal Strand went on to voice characters in MLP:FIM & Barbie film series. Two more seasons to go.
Further proof that Hotel Transylvania The Series is AU despite being called a prequel: In the S2 finale, it's revealed that Count Drac had built the hotel on top of an ancient evil's crypt so that he could guard and prevent its spirit from escaping and wreaking havoc on the underworld. In contrast in the movie, the hotel's purpose is to act as a safe haven for Count Dracula's family as well as other monsters from threat by humans.
