The new show I Can See Your Voice on Fox is sort of interesting if you can tolerate the douchebag celebrities on it. The good singers are as good or better than the professionals. The bad singers...OMG. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Alisa Knows What To Do did good by not portraying robots as completely one dimensional. Some series like Samurai Jack is very sadistic towards robot-kind, even the good ones. Therefore the one episode where the robotic antagonist redeemed himself is a great breath of fresh air. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif)

Also in the same episode, the music played out during the robot march sounded like a parody of Darth Vader's Star Wars theme. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Samurai Jack plays robots bad because it was on Cartoon Network originally and apparently violence is okay if it's just robots.

Ted Woolsey's translation (the SNES one) went:

I don't have the script for the NDS or PSX versions on hand, nor the original Japanese one.
Obviously, machines are capable of evil, though, if humans do make them that way, so if I were proofreading I'd probably have said they "aren't necessarily" evil, or maybe just rewritten the line as "Machines are only evil because humans made them that way."
I'd really have to see the original japanese to know if it should be "made" or "make," since the context (the following line from Marle) makes me suspect it should be "made," especially given that they are in the distant future when the line is spoken and most of these robots are already centuries old.

I understand their thinking: Robot aren't living things, robots can't express emotions, destroying robots is like dismantling a broken down car, etc etc etc. Still, it gets old watching robot massacre over and over and over.

They're only bad if people build them that way.

Lots of silly lines in If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. So silly it's funny. Wish I found the series earlier. Season 1 aired in 2017 while Season 2 only started last year. Also, Roger Craig Smith did a decent job as Mouse. I initially imagined Mouse - a male character - with a feminine voice, so thought his voice actor was either Lara Jill Miller or Jessica DiCicco.

Really? I watched one episode, so many of his inner monologues and the banter with the other cops was extremely cringey. Like the Japanese one who kept throwing Japanese buzz words in his dialogue.

With monologues, it's a matter of preference I guess. Hannibal apparently does very well without them. In general I do think that it takes more finesse to create dramatic suspense without using monologues, but I enjoyed it all the same.
Also yeah, most of the cops were kinda meh. Only 1 or 2 were really interesting.
