What if SW Episode IX actually wasn't shit after all? Found at least one YouTube guy with normative brain function who seems to think so. Guess I'll found out when it's on D+ and I start up another trial week.
Throughout Transformers The Last Knight, I was overcome by a sense of familiarity with the woman who played a descendant of Merlin. After watching the movie, I decided to check the wikipedia and found out the actress is Laura Haddock. No wonder. It's the actress who portrayed Lucrezia, Leonardo Da Vinci's traitorous love interest and secret daughter of Pope Sixtus in Da Vinci's Demons. On another note, still regarding the same movie, I find it odd that Cogman, the robot butler who supposedly served an English noble family for centuries would use words like weird, shit list and cool, as if he was an American character.
I didn't know there're 2 types of Chupacabras. One reptilian-like in Puerto Rico and one mutt-like in Texas. I would've assumed it's just a freakishly diseased dog if I ever caught a glimpse of one.
The other day, I saw this really weird movie on TCM called The Hatchet Man (1932) starring Edward G. Robinson and Loretta Young...as Chinese characters.
As was common back in those days, white actors were cast to play foreign characters to attract a bigger box office from the big-name stars. To our modern eyes it seems very strange and even comical. The thing with this movie was it was pretty good if you get past all the old-timey acting and caked on makeup. I missed the beginning but the ending was so worth it and came as a surprise. They should remake it with a proper Asian cast.
The Matrix sequels are a hard sit. Especially once you hit film 3 and knowing what happens in the tie-ins barely helps. Good luck with the fourth film. The first film and the good parts of the anime still hold up.

The Matrix 4 is an upcoming American science fiction action film and the fourth installment in The Matrix franchise. The film is co-written and directed by Lana Wachowski, one of the two Wachowskis who directed the previous three films. Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Lambert Wilson reprise their roles from previous films in the series. The film will be a joint production by Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures and is scheduled to be released on May 21, 2021.
Double post because wait a freakin' minute. I was thinking how the Wachowski Brothers made The Matrix movies but noticed they had female names. After some investigating...

I waited until 1am just for this? Frankly I was expecting the countdown timer to lead to a new season announcement.
The video's been removed. Last time I checked, viewer reaction is divided - 2k likes vs 2.5 dislike. While I do love stories involving alternate universes, I take issue with this video's low quality animation, the use of different voice actors (probably using b-list or their own staff since the roles are uncredited) and its 5-minute runtime.

Verona Dempsey looks as if she's Velma's counterpart from another universe.
Now that I think about it, why did Daphne referred the translucent robe she's given as "long underwear" in this episode?

Haha you found out huh. Think I did a year ago, randomly.
Wonder if the new movie could be any good? Especially after that Jupiter Ascending turd.

Yeah, I had no idea and they've been that way quite a while. Blech, and I made the mistake of Googling what they look like.
In other news, singer Adele has lost a ton of weight and doesn't look like herself anymore. She looks like that Kate Plus 8 whore after she grew her hair long.
In the anime Pani Poni Dash, when in Japan they fall into a quicksand and go all the way through the Earth until coming out on the other side, they are in Brazil. In France, the typical "other side of the planet" is China.
In episode "Invisible Empire" of Lost in the Wild, I was quite intrigued because:
1.) The case happened in in my country and it's fairly recent (March 25 2019). Coincidentally I passed Gopeng where it happened on the way to Cameron Highlands last February. 2.) One of the theories connect the victim's disappearance to the supernatural and black magic. How can it not? Malaysians are generally a superstitious populace and the disappearance did happen in the middle of of a jungle. 3.) By the end episode, it is hinted by the host Kinga Phillip the possibility that the victim might be held in another realm by the supernatural race of "invisible people" - referred to by Malaysians as "Orang Bunian".
