The Dead Files season premiere was last night and I fell asleep. Before that was an ep of Ghost Adventures with a sneak peek at the new season and I had fallen asleep during that, too.

The TV was on and even when I woke up to watch repeats of them through the night, I kept falling asleep.

Paranormal Emergency on Travel Channel gave a good scare out of me. The narration and the dramatization in the reenactment were effective. It's just as scary if not more than The Dead Files and Blue Ant's Paranormal Survivor.

New season of Ghosties begins tonight. There's even a timer counting down on Trvl until it starts. It's so dumb how Travel Channel spells it like that now but it's to save space.

It's an old movie, released way back in 2003. But I do wonder how the Aussies reacted to the Yowie Yahoo in Scooby-Doo: Legend of the Vampire? That the creature is a sort of "Australian vampire" when in truth it's closer to the legend of Bigfoot.

Josh Gates' hair. Is he a brunette, blonde or redhead? When he first started out his hair was a sandy brownish color then it was blonde, then it was red and now it's blonde again. And his beard matches whatever his hair color is on whatever series he's in. He should do a show called Expedition Unknown: Hair Edition or Destination Truth: Does the Carpet Match the Drapes?

And his weight fluctuates, too. First he was slender then when he became a dad he bloated up like a fatass and then he got to a normal range for a big guy and now he's slender again. If he wasn't so manly you'd think he was a chick.

New season of Portals to Hell began last night. Jack Osbourne thankfully got a haircut and trimmed his beard and looked decent. Also appears to have lost some weight.

As for Katrina Weidman, holy crap, those teeth of hers were worse than I thought. At a distance she looks rather pretty but up close in those tight shots they were doing of her face, she looked fuggo like a gross-ass tweaker with rotten teeth.

They're showing the movie Black Panther on TV and I watched it the other night. I thought it was just meh and was expecting something much better. It was similar to Valerian in that it was a huge undertaking and lots of action and CGI but the story was confusing and there was too much of it and some of the acting was shit. And as expected, there were a couple of racist hate whitey moments which were unnecessary.

I don't know how it did so well at the box office. The Prince/King Chakalaka, or whatever his name was, actor was good but the sister character was the best and outshined all of them. The story was ugh and the ending, however many times they could've ended it, was bleh.

Just finished watching Nutri Ventures, an animated series from Portugal that aired from 2012-2014. All 50 episodes, spanning over five arcs, plus two additional episodes which acts the series' prequel. I have to say, a cliffhanger is a very odd way to conclude the show. "The battle of the universe for the power of the stones is about to begin" the guy said and suddenly the credits rolled. What? That's it? How unsatisfactory. The series is supposed to be about a group of heroic kids on a journey to save seven food kingdoms from an evil junk food corporation. At the end of the third arc, one of the food guardians even created a round table around which the guardians would all congregate once the seven kingdoms are saved. I really expected to see all the major characters joined together in a celebratory feast and the male protagonist happily reunited with his grandpa. But no. Instead it ended like this - because the kid is the bearer of a medallion used to store the seven power stones, he got sucked by a mysterious alien spaceship (called the Star Warriors) and taken into space for unclear reasons. How he got the medallion in the first place is also never answered. The question was raised at the start of the fourth arc and even his grandpa admitted he didn't know where the medallion came from. With the series' purpose being to educate kids on healthy eating, a continuation on the story beyond the food kingdoms is highly unlikely. Thus the writers' decision to go with an inconclusive ending is a baffling one.

Some channels (Canal Plus) here, that normally require subscription, and are usually the first to provide various big movies, are free until the end of the month.
Planned recording of a few stuff, among which Avengers Endgame. Now if only they would also put on the movie before this one, and the others surrounding it.But I guess if there's an ideal order to watch this stuff, I will definitely not meet it.

edit: It got mostly canceled due to whining other channels and copyright holders. Can't they just sneeze to death? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Curse of the Bermuda Triangle on the Science Channel didn't seem like a show I'd like due to seeing everything about the Bermuda Triangle. I was wrong, it was really good. Those tough old dudes really know what they're doing and actually found some mysterious stuff along with some surprises along the way. Worth a watch.

The Alaska Triangle on Travel Channel was interesting, I haven't watched all the episodes but it's a different angle. I never knew Alaska had a triangle although I knew people go missing up there a lot.

Damn, the channel that became free for those special circumstances, actually cannot be recorder despite that, but it's no longer important, since they changed their schedules, and only shit is on now, so nothing to record.
May as well go all the way and advertise piracy, the best solution in these times because it save bandwidth and is less random (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Curse of the Bermuda Triangle on the Science Channel

That's one show I'd like to watch. I've already found out many accounts regarding the missing Flight 19 and other planes and ships in the area have actually been embellished by writers. All the explanations attributing to freakish weather patterns and pilot errors rather make sense. Make me a believer again!

First heard about in an episode of Code of the Wild, in which the Keefer brothers investigate the disappearances of two politicians. One of the theories is that the plane carrying the politicians was a victim to the Alaskan Triangle. This makes it the third such region alongside Bermuda Triangle and Devil's Triangle. Only that the latter two are location at the ocean.

One musn't overthink The Bravest Knight. It takes place in a fantasy world. It's not supposed to be politically correct or historically accurate.

How did I confuse Jessica Dicicco with Jessica Nigri? It's the latter who voiced Cinder Fall in Rwby.

So I watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi on TV last night. It sucked. Like, really sucked ass.

When did Rey get an English accent? I don't remember her having one in the movie before that or maybe I just forgot. These latest Star Wars movies are very forgettable. Wait, I think there's one more I haven't seen, The Rise of Skywalker. Fuck, I hope that's the last one to end this miserable shit.

In Cinderella and The Secret Prince, the witch that betrayed the royal family by turning the prince into a mouse and replace him with an impostor turned out to be Fairy Godmother herself. The revelation caught me off-guard because even though her eventual appearance was hinted early on in the movie, I really did not expect her to be the main villain. However, I think she could've been written better, since Fairy Godmother is traditionally a good figure in the story of Cinderella. "Quest for power" seems like a weak reason for the character to suddenly abandon her apprentice and dabble in dark magic. That the kingdom is "corrupt" and her desire is to "restore" it is apparently a lie, as there's no evidence of such decline throughout the movie.
