Ghost Adventures Extra Pulses: De Soto Hotel and Concordia Cemetery was so fucking scary! When that thing moved on the desk while what's-his-name was watching the monitor, I freaked out. Then the fan getting thrown in the basement when no one was around was insane. That's pure poltergeist evidence right there, how can people not believe in that when it's caught on film?

That episode was as scary as when they did the investigation at the Stardust Ranch with the aliens. That figure moving around in the house made me think fuck that shit! When I'm not being scared, I like to ogle Zak "The Snack" Bagans. He sure did mature into something delicious after all these years.

Even if Joni is a girl alternate universe version of Johnny, the animators should've really trimmed her eye brows to make her design more feminine. Girls with thick eye brows is as weird as girls with hairy armpits or hairy legs.

I realized the Ultra Seven series I watched as a kid was not the original series from the 60s but the Heisei series which aired in the mid to the late 90s.

Holy shit, a suicide? I always thought he'd die from alcoholism or some mishap in one of those shitty countries he always traveled to. I wasn't a fan of his but it's still quite shocking.

In between the Sex and the City marathon on TV, I watched the racehorse Justify run in the Belmont Stakes to become a Triple Crown winner. He majestically led the pack during the whole race and was the only clean horse left, all the others were covered in dirt behind him.

That horse is gonna get more action in a year than we get in our entire lives.

I know. They can make a series about it and call it Sex and the Stable.

Solid premise: "3 teen strangers awaken in a dangerous world and try to make sense of what connection they have to each other as they attempt to make it out alive."

Ending: Disappointing. A game show? Really!? Why not an experimental VR simulation gone wrong instead!?

They should kill the people who put them there.

Actually, the trio volunteered to put themselves in there. The memory wipe that causes the contestants to forget their identity and their life while in the simulated world was an unnecessary element to the plot, since the whole thing was a just virtual game. It serves no purpose other than to drum up drama and suspense to the fictional audience and of course a sense of mystery (which in the end was non-existent) to the real world viewers. Speaking of which, it's baffling that the other competing team was aware that they are in a game, while only the main protagonists suffer amnesia. It's also never explained as to what caused the game to glitch, only implying (vaguely) that the contestants might die for real if they don't win the game by the time the whole virtual world "collapsed".

She vaguely resembles Violett from the game of the same name, who in turn vaguely resembles Coraline, from the movie of the same name.

The Scarlet Pimpernel (1934) was on last night on TCM. I love that movie and watch it in the rare instances I see it on. Leslie Howard, more known for his role of Ashley Wilkes in Gone with the Wind, played the fruity dandy Sir Percy Blakeney perfectly.

Merle Oberon, more known for playing Cathy in Wuthering Heights, was stunningly beautiful as Lady Blakeney. I mean exquisitely painfully beautiful. Whoever styled the actors in this movie did a great job.

Whoever decided to change the design to the one seen in Justice League should be shot. Zack Snyder's original version of Steppenwolf obviously looked more badass.

This morning, the movie A Tale of Two Cities (1935) was on TCM and that's a classic. I love Ronald Colman as Sydney Carton. I have a very old hardback edition of the Dickens novel and even though I had seen the movie before I ever read the book, I thought of him as Sydney. I even liked the ending of the film better than the novel. In my opinion, Sydney Carton is the greatest character in literary history. It's really worth a read and a watch.

The thought that came up to my mind while I was watching this scene: "Rape! Rape! Rape!"

I can't stand black & white movies, i've only ever seen 3 i think.

Metropolis (1927)
Eden Log (2007)
Film Noir (2007)

They are all great imo.

And Hujan, what movie is that girl with the gnome?
