Watched the first part of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story on FX. Really good casting, the dude looks exactly like Versace and the Cunanan actor resembles the psycho nutter a great deal. I never realized they knew each other as the show depicts. After some quick researching, the family says they didn't but others say they did. [ www.vanityfair.com] https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/0...-andrew-cunananQUOTE In 1997, Vanity Fair contributing editor Maureen Orth—who wrote the book on which The Assassination of Gianni Versace is based—was the first to report that Cunanan and Versace actually had met in San Francisco in 1990. QUOTE Meanwhile, another man—Doug Stubblefield—claimed to have seen Versace with Cunanan on a different occasion in San Francisco that fall.

I've rewatched Snow White & the Huntsman multiple times. Sara did not make an appearance and thus the information that claimed Annabelle Wallis played the character in the film has to be false.

On Hell's Kitchen All Stars, Robyn got the boot. She and Milly were put up for elimination and Milly went berserk. He was scary and I don't want him to win. He was lazy when they had to do the cleaning and his hostile personality came out as he argued with Robyn (she's a lesbian, btw). Michelle seems levelheaded out of the remaining four and might win but you never know who will be eliminated next.

David Ayer's Bright wasn't bad. The first half-hour was a little hard to go through, but then things started get interesting from there.

Having watched Secret of the Sun Drop, many questions popped up in my mind. Like, if the black rocks aren't the physical manifestation of the "darkness" and its purpose isn't to destroy Corona, then what is it actually and what is its ties to the Sun Drop Flower? What does the rocks want with Rapunzel and to where it is leading her? Also, it seems that Varian's father is part of an unknown organization, judging from the mark on his hand, the very same mark that the mysterious warrior has, who made a brief appearance by the end of the episode. Could this organization be the series' second antagonist?

The show Vikings on History Channel...*sigh*...I've been watching that since it came out and I just don't know what's going on with it anymore. It's becoming ridiculous.
It was the mid-season finale and was filled with death galore and killed off characters left and right, but it was the good characters. Ivar the dipshit is still there, I can't stand him and his dumb grinning. The whole series is becoming stupid now. The costumes are too elaborate for that time era and even Lagertha's hairdos, which I once loved, are becoming too 80s.
Recently I watched some of the old 1958 movie The Vikings with Kirk Douglas and it says on Wikipedia "It is based on the novel The Viking by Edison Marshall, which in turn is based on material from the sagas of Ragnar Lodbrok and his sons." That old cheesy movie seemed more authentic with the primitive costumes and had much more feeling to it than the expensive modern TV show.

Aziz Ansari, James Franco, now Casey Affleck. Who could be next to be accused of sexual misconduct?

QUOTE(hujan86 @ Jan 27 2018, 18:40) What abomination is Princess Unikitty!?
Ha, I just saw that on the guide and thought WTF is a Unikitty? Anyway, I'm watching Ghost Adventures. I always look forward to watching Ghosties but when I do, it scares the crap out of me. Been watching it since the beginning. I can't believe a lot of shows I've watched from the start are still on. I've sort of gotten back into watching Top Chef. Padma annoys the living shit out of me but during that last episode, I was looking at her boobs. Gross, but she had her cleavage out.

Couldn't sleep last night and on TV the movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was on one channel and a movie I've never heard of before called In Vanda's Room was on TCM.
Both movies were fucking horrible. Vanda's Room was a complete waste of film and when I was changing back to it, they were still sitting on the bed smoking heroin in a slum that was being bulldozed or they were yelling at each other. Who the hell wants to see that for 3 hours? And most of it was filmed in shadows where you couldn't see anything. Then I watched all of Dragon Tat and it was also a waste of film. Fucking terrible and depressing from beginning to end and I'm sorry I watched it. I hate movies like that. It served no entertainment purpose or any kind of purpose at all. Just a piece of shit.

Just discovered that Puss in Boots (from Shrek) has his own TV series, which has been airing on Netflix from 2015. Having watched the first two episodes, I'd say it's promising. Promising as in it won't end up boring, like other TV serializations like Penguins of Madagascar and Monster vs Aliens. I have rather mixed reation for Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, but Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - now that's cartoon comedy gold.

I am interested in reading William Burroughs, in his way he has some strange encounter with the mental instability of the chemical dependence; but similarly it reflects some form of a survival struggle on the influence of what is normal, or at least an unfazed prediction of bad habits. That reminds me to take the seriousness with flexible points in his narrative.

Well. That was a tad lazy. The animators merely reused Sphinx's model for Calista. The latter is basically a clone or twin of the Sphinx, without the Egyptian tattoos. I've also been wondering how some bandits manage to get to San Lorenzo when the Sphinx was supposed to guard the perimeter around the city. Finally, the explanation was occasionally she sleeps on her job and she would let the bandits pass through if they answered her riddle correctly. Some protector. (The Adventures of Puss in Boots)

Now they're going to revisit the death of Natalie Wood. The case is reopened and her husband Robert Wagner is a person of interest. Well duh, everyone knows he had something to do with it. He got jealous of her and Christopher Walken flirting on the boat and then she and Wagner argued and drunko smacked her around and she fell off the boat and drowned.
I'll gladly watch these new series about old murder cases and even reboots of old sitcoms, as the trend is fast becoming, rather than stupid reality shows. Thankfully, they're on their way out. All they need to do is get rid of the Kartrashian/Jenner twats and television will be enjoyable again.

So in Beyond Skyline, the machine aliens kidnapped humans just so they could add their numbers by ripping humans brains out to be put inside their machines and forced them to drive like zombies? Interesting? Nah, not really.
