I just creamed myself watching the 'Judas' music video. Those boxer shorts simply can never be clean again.

Well, I was thoroughly enjoying today's episode of Oprah until Lady GaGa showed up at the end. Absolutely ridiculous. She's such a rip-off of Liberace and Elton John.
She seems like a nice enough girl but her music is terrible and her outfits and stage gimmicks are nauseating.

It was nothing but an observational comment, not a confrontation. Keep your bloodlust in check.

I actually heard the newest Britney Spears song today while still (pointlessly) searching for a radio station to listen to. I didn't know who it was until the DJ mentioned it afterward. I could have sworn it was a 4 year old singing, it just doesn't sound right at all.
I am clearly noticing that females are dominating Top 40 stuff of late.
Top 40 = the bane of rad's musical existence.

Hard to be a bane when you fail to notice or acknowledge it.

True enough. I guess when you focus on music that you have to buy out of the back of broken down vans you don't really have time to catch what's hot on the radio.

Did I say it was? You aren't faced with the massive amounts of shit that comes out in the mainstream and I'd say that's a pretty nice benefit.

Agreed.
But, then again, you have to dread when the obscure becomes well-known...

Only if you're a hipster. If you love the music and the artist, then you should be encouraged when they are successful and more people get to hear them. Unless, of course, their music gets influenced by that stardom, then yea, it's hell.

I think it's safe to say that I won't be a Top 40 kid anytime soon. I just went to billboard.com and listened to a bunch of a stuff that is at the top of the chart and couldn't stomach but only a few. It was borderline masochistic and not something I'd recommend.
