Figuring out strum patterns is my least favorite part of guitarring.

I'm watching the Star Trek (2009) movie right now on TV and it's my very first time seeing it. The movie's not even over but I have to ask, is this a God damn joke? It's really terrible.

Zoe Saldana was the absolute worst choice to play Uhura and she makes me sick having to look and listen to her destroy that beautiful character. The guy who plays Kirk is an idiot and doesn't look or act anything like him. Plus, Kirk doesn't have blue eyes. Jim Carrey played a better Kirk in the Ace Ventura movies. And what is Chekov doing there? He didn't even come on ST:TOS until the second season. Winona Ryder playing Spock's mother? Ugh. Besides that, I still don't know what's going on in the storyline. What's this stupid movie even about?

On the other hand, the guys who played Dr. McCoy, Spock, Pike and Sulu were OK. Scotty was meh. The McCoy actor did the best job out of all of them although McCoy had blue eyes, not dark eyes. I wish they would've paid attention to details like this. While the guy looked like Spock, something about his portrayal of him really irritated me. I can't even believe Leonard Nimoy agreed to be in this pile of crap. Certain parts of it I somewhat liked but over all, it just didn't capture the heart and soul of Star Trek and I wish Hollywood would stop messing with the classics and ruining them.
