QUOTE(Robbie Pie @ Jan 26 2012, 07:26) She'll break down and change. S'what all women do.
That would be very bad. If she was wanting to cool out a bit and all that because that's where she wanted to go, I'd be cool with that. Sure, I'm sure a lot of people like her because of the craziness and it's part of the appeal but life changes and people do too. If she did it because some dude was uncomfortable with her, that would just not go well with the message she tries to get across.

Curious: Why does it matter? If she's as inventive as everyone says, which I doubt, she'll find a way to mesh the two together, right?

Again, I honestly don't care what she does with herself. Sure the independent bitch just doing whatever she wants is part of the fun but what kind of selfish ass would I, or anyone who likes her, be if they got butthurt over her just being in a relationship. That's the difference between caring about the entertainer and caring about the person. It's just that if her reason for changing was because someone told her to, she would really hurt her image. Not just from a perspective of selling albums but part of her social agenda. I mean, she's launching her Born This Way Foundation next month all about being yourself and all that jazz and if she were to suddenly become something different because of outside pressure, she wouldn't be doing any favors to that overall ideology. Anybody that knows her knows that she's said that one day she wants to be a regular old wife and mother. She's pretty traditional despite appearances. So we all knew eventually the spotlight would be off her and she would just be off baking and raising kids. Good on her when/if that happens but it's just an image issue she's going to have to deal with if this is the route she goes.

Shit, that ain't nothing. When I was still pursuing relationships with the so-called fairer sex, I used to blow up in some pretty misogynistic rants. That is to say that I don't hate all women, I just find too far and few in between them that are deserving of any respect from me.

What pisses me off most about all this is FUCKING WHY? It can't be, I see it even in school: As soon as a female is involved, the decision gardually loses rationality! I didn't even think like that for a long time, heck, I still try not to, but what I get every fucking time brings that anger right back into my face..... That's pretty much how I feel about it, too. I hate their foolishness and their weaknesses. Idiotic beasts.

Speaking of dumb bitches, the show Toddlers and Tiaras is on TV now and I really don't know how those awful mothers can do that to their kids. And TLC. That still means The Learning Channel, right? What am I supposed to be learning by watching all those horrible shows they have on nowadays, how stupid people are? OK, got it. Look, it even says this on Wikipedia: QUOTE TLC (former initialism for The Learning Channel) is an American cable TV specialty channel which initially focused on educational content.[1] It has since changed to focus on "unholy examinations of the worst of our society."

LOL, citation needed?
I think I used to watch things on TLC. I don't remember what, though.

If that kind of shit matters to anyone, then those people need to off themselves.

I've said before that I have no hatred for Madonna, hell I actually enjoy some of her stuff from back in the day, but I have said all along that I just don't think she's the right kind of entertainment for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. I may not have liked some of the washed up rock bands they've put in years past, but those made a degree of sense given the usual football audience.
Now the guest stars have been announced and I'm crying tears of blood. Not only will we have Madonna but now Cee Lo Green, LMFAO and Nicki Minaj. Unless Cee Lo is singing "Fuck You" I really don't care to hear him, especially after his raping of "Imagine" on New Years Eve. This is going to be a halftime show most foul.

People still seriously watch the Super Bowl for things other than the advertisements?

From my experiences at different Super Bowl gatherings, you watch the game and then halftime is when it becomes background noise while you pile around a bunch of food. This is when you talk about how great or how shitty the game has been while pounding down calories. The channel doesn't change because you want to make sure you're ready for the 3rd quarter.

The 45 minute long 4th quarter is really the only one that matters, though, if you think about it.

Not always. There have been blowouts in Super Bowls before, like XXXVII and XXXVwhere the 4th quarter was nothing but garbage time.

Meh. It's all garbage time if you don't really care.
