Did anyone happen to see the movie [en.wikipedia.org] Hausu on TCM the other night? That was a strange movie but of course, it was Japanese so it was to be expected. Turner Classic Movies doesn't censor anything so there was young girl nudity in it.

The film quality and color were amazing and if you didn't know it was made in 1977, you would think it was more of a recent production. If you see it, look for the part where that chick's decapitated head comes out of the well and bites another girl's ass and then vomits blood water. Also, the girls in it, especially the one who plays Gorgeous, are really beautiful. You pervs will like it.

A little bad news to go along with good news. At least to me, no one else will care.

The bad news is: Black Moth Super Rainbow's album to be released this year, 'Psychic Love Damage', has been scrapped. And that's a bit of a bummer.

The good news is: 'Psychic Love Damage' will slowly be released for free, and the parts that were salvageable from the album will be used for something completely different that TOBACCO is really, really liking and actually excited about.

ADDENDUM: I got this in an email from a coworker on Friday:

QUOTE
Subject: weep for us

Rob was seen by 13.5 million viewers and delivered a hearty 4.1 adults 18-49 rating at 8:30 p.m. following the Big Bang Theory (15.9 million, 5.2). Though the comedy fell from its huge lead-in (every show does in this slot) it gave CBS its best number in the time period since May 2010.

Thanks, America!

I have a foreign film you might like. It's called 'I Saw The Devil'. I saw it on Netdix a few months ago, then I had to download it and watch it again because I kept telling a friend how good it was. It's Japanese (I think) so you gotta read subtitles but it is a DAMN good movie about how far you're willing to go for revenge.

The best (and hardest) thing one can do for revenge is to eradicate the object of the revenge from one's mind complete, forget that it ever existed.

Some say that's what God did to the world (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well, that's actually something the bad guy tells the good guy. That no matter what happens from that point, he (the bad guy) wins because the good guys life revolves around revenge. It's a great movie.

Heh, Revenge is underrated and overrated at the same time....
It is very satisfying, even if you have to spend some energy on it(just don't overdo it!).
Additionally, nobody ever said it has to be starightforward violence.

Revenge is usually seen as bad because society doesn't want to provide a feeding ground for weak-minded individuals.
That's at least what I think.

See it that way:
People who throw away their lives for something like revenge would probably just as easily throw away their life for a nice car, you can't expect from anybody to be able to resist temptation, that's too basic to be easily discarded....
it's nothing bad, the bad thing is when the people around them, in the first place parents, aren't capable of compensating that with proper elevation and education.

If you can handle it, and are intelligent or at least willful enough to keep the collateral damage as low as possible(that's also the main problem with most, if not all people who want to have revenge, they become deadly reckless and a liability to everybody including themselves), then there's no problem in it, in the end, you do that to yourself (Compare: "Why not suicide?").
Maybe there are some inconveniences ethically/morally, but let's be honest on that, shall we?

Exactly, and it gets a lot easier when you simply fulfill it, so you can really move on to other things wothout regret and with satisfaction of basic instincts. And as said, when one breaks because of it, than it's a special case anyway....

Eddy:
You can also just call it retribution.... when I got that right, it's even legit then.

Sorry for the slightly non-sequitur mini-rant, and I know I'm mostly throwing around fairly unrealistic theories about human behaviour and willpower, but I "hoped" for quite long to be able to get that point more or less across, in one way or another....

Is that... part of the instruction too? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

That also reminds me of an awesome quote from one of my favourite games:

"There is no greater release than that from vengeance sated."

I just watched the new show Remodeled after 90210 was over. Joseph Villanueva is an interesting little piece of emo licorice with his smoldering gaze, black hair and tons of guyliner. He's modeling agent Paul Fisher's assistant, meaning ass assistant. He probably beats him silly every night.

It was ok but I much prefer it over that god awful Alan Gregory show they had in that slot. Personally I thought Bob's Burgers fit just fine but they just can't get a solid follow up show after the Simpsons.

This news is good. If Napoleon Dynamite lasts long enough, maybe this will mean one less Macfarlane show.
