QUOTE(Tenseigamoon @ Jan 5 2012, 19:21) You guys Skype each other? What does Benji sound like?
We typed, but now that you mention it I am curious to hear what he sounds like. Wanna talk sometime Benji? Or is it too hard to speak English fluently? I can read and write Latin but I can't bust it out at a conversational level, so I understand some people can't really speak English even though they can read and write it. Actually, now that I remember, my mom can read and write English but it's hard for her to understand it spoken and she definitely stumbles through sentences. QUOTE(radixius @ Jan 5 2012, 19:25) I may have heard the names of those groups. I am part of a Mexican family now, after all. But I've not heard them at all.
Also, Vicente is a fucking beast.
He is the undisputed king. QUOTE(derpymal @ Jan 5 2012, 19:27) I'm more grateful to the Arabs for algebra than for hookah. /nerd

heh, no, I actaually think that if anybody heard my in my opinion annoying-as-fuck voice they'd never wanna talk with me again. That reminded me, though, that I wanted to suggest doing voice chats with you people, to improve my spoken english, because I think it really needs improvement. I haven't figured out any benefits on your side, though, that's probably also the reason why I forgot about it..... Also, Pseudoloco you cunt! If you make suggestions like that then you have to come online yourself as well. We're obviously both awake and present, so where's my warm welcome!? Oh yes! Actually it is quite a shame(religious turbulences and climate) that the Arab sector didn't get the enlightement first, they were leading in any scientific area far into the fiteenth century. This post has been edited by Benjiro: Jan 6 2012, 05:44

I mentioned that in the GSC one time about making a group voice chat and I think three of us in total agreed but two of us were drunk at the time so it didn't happen.
If you want help with conversational English I'll talk with you.

I totally want to hear what your voice sounds like. I want to hear your accent. Not in a naughty way, I've just always been curious to know what you sound like.

Heh, my accent isn't even that much german(It IZ defanetlee not az yoo wuld imaginn it ze (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif))..... I have a bunch of several accents mixed together in and I often swith depending on whom I talk to.... When i read stu, it is usually in a classic brithish accent ore in some special that I call claudia blac accent because she's the irst one that i heard talking like that... I think it's australian or soemthing, dunno, check it out. Thing is, in my mind or when I talk to myself, EVERYTHING is perfect(and , according to other people's reports, I'm starting to talk with a perfect oxord english accent as soon as I'm drunk while not being able to speak german anymore) But as soon as there are other people, I suddenly break down and only start to muble-jumble

I have this weird habit of deconstructing my own perfect British dialect when foreign people are trying to speak to me. Case in point, I happened upon a fried chicken restaurant run by Pakistanis. I first tried to order in my normal English, but when the guy started babbling to me in very broken English, I spoke back in this weird half-asian accent.

That wasn't so hard for me, but I do see how unforgivingly confusing it could be. I have a hard time keeping myself from mimicking peoples' accent or dialect when they speak to me. It's a bad habit I've had since I was a kid. I loved to imitate things I heard, especially cartoon and game characters. I'll also change my voice when speaking other languages without noticing.

Pakistan is considered in asia. But yeah I do that too I hate swabyans, but as soon as I get close to some, start talking in their own filthy dialect. I also stumbled across a sctosman once. Hilarity ensued. anyways, I think thats pretty normal

But yeah, that's bizarrely fun to read. I'd definitely be game for some Skype/podcast shenanigans sometime. I forget what my username was, it's been so long. Re: contagious accents, This happens to me occasionally. If I listen to someone talk for too long, even my inner-mind voice starts to sound like them.
