The first song I heard this year was "Party Rock Anthem". Not because I wanted to listen to it but because I forgot to turn off the TV after the ball dropped. I think it's fitting given the planned course of this year to go ahead and set it on one shitty path.

You really never need to listen to it. 1) It's not that good anyway and 2) The group is certainly a one-hit wonder so you'd better off not listening to it in case you like it and you never hear from them again.

I suppose given the fact I changed radio stations in my car I wouldn't know. Now I hear things like My Morning Jacket, The Naked and Famous, Cake and The Joy Formidable. I never have to worry about the stray Ke$ha song making me want to drive into a ditch.

Rad, how dare you not warn us that Rob Schneider was about to get his own show on CBS!? You had to know and I hope you tried something to stop it.

Entry position guy at a Market 168 station doesn't get much say in those matters, unfortunately.

Best I can say is: Avoid CBS on Thursdays. Hopefully we can burn down The Big Bang Theory in the process.
