What's this shit on my TV? The Billboard Music Awards? Ew. It opened with Rihanna McDonald and her fugly red clown hair and then Britney Spears showed up. I like Britney but she wasn't helping matters much. If it wasn't for the gay backup dancers, I might've vomited. Where's my damn remote control.

Am I missing something by not fully converting to digital when it comes to music? Sure, I rip my CD's and put them on an MP3 player, but I still actually prefer to have a physical object for my money.

Ok, I thought maybe it was the old guy in me that still makes me want to buy actual CD's and not willing to embrace a fully digital age.

I was just explaining this to a friend the other day, but with Blu-Ray type stuff. Unfortunately for CDs it's less applicable.

My car can play CDs. It can't play mp3s.

Not always the case, some can do both.

2. CDs come with liner notes, fun facts about the band, lyrics, pictures, art, etc. Mp3s don't often come with even one of the above, let alone all.

Yeah, you can get those on iTunes or other such vendors, too.

3. If it's a band I actually like, I'd like show my support somehow, especially since I never make it out to concerts.

Because it's impossible to purchase digital copies of stuff.
