You should treasure it forever and ever. Ever time you look at your inventory you will see that shiny egg, a reminder of days past.

Whereas the superior cotton panties of deflection you get from turning it in will forever disappoint you.

I got 100 crystals, 1 ability point, 1+ wisdom, 1+ dexterity and for the coloured egg, I got average chainmail chausses (bad choice, should have gone for staff for a better credit gain). Gave potato battery to Snowflake, too. For that I got Superior Longsword of Balance.
