That's why it's strange, I did with the same Ichy too, got 1 hit with +400 and another with +500, then when I weakened only did +250 dmg, and none of them was a crit. Unless the difference came from defend (so I wouldn't stun it) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Either way, the pew something attack did +2000 dmg (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

On a funny side mark. You can drain mana from Ether thefted monsters by using Scan (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

The mana drains when the monster takes its turn. You could use Scan, or Defend, or stand there picking your nose, and it wouldn't make any difference.

I don't care if it's STR/DEX or INT/WIS, as long as it's a magical melee attack. That's the whole reason I went with elemental.

Just made tonight's update to the Monster Lab Bestiary. Three made it to level 100+, and the list of those within levels 70-99 (within the discussion section) is still growing larger. I mentioned to dkplee that I thought that the main list should be about 50 in size and I still feel the same. As the list gets longer, it becomes more difficult
to maintain. Also, from my point of view, monsters in the range of 100-149 are not advanced enough to pose much of an additional challenge. I think that changing the minimum of the main list (say to 110+) and the discussion list (say to 80-109) might be in order just to keep the lists manageable and relevant.

I started the list mostly to track the changes in the weakness/resistance of the higher level monsters. When I am in mage mode, I want to know. So far, only six monsters have scans that deviate from their type norms.

All normal attacks are physical AFAICT, so that's STR/DEX/AGI. I don't know if you got confused when you fought yourself, but these are my results.

That is the greatest use of the confuse spell I have ever seen.

I considered getting Confuse so I could watch player monsters fight each other. In the end I decided it wasn't going to be amusing enough to make it worth spending AP on.

Before she disappeared on me, I noticed that she usually appeared with the magic gage started at 40% and she gained 5% a turn so I usually had two or three turns to prepare my defences before she had the ability to go for the kill. Sorry she's out of my range as she was one of only four monsters who could do enough damage in a turn to be a concern.

Are you trying to make an army of extremely obscure characters? Apart from Momo I've had to do a search for every one of your monsters to find out who they are.

Also, the last thing we need is more monsters that can survive an attack. You should follow my example and create monsters which are 100% guaranteed to die in one untargeted attack.

They aren't 100% guaranteed to die in one hit, for others they're a pain in the ass especially eila.
