It don't condense, but it's easier to read, by separating the different types: physical, elemental, and holy/dark/soul.

I've created an account on EHwiki, just need to figure out how to create a new page. Guess I'm heading towards the helpfiles.

You can always look at other pages to see how things are done. You can also check [www.mediawiki.org] here, which is the help section in case you couldn't find them.

Why don't you yoyos just make a wiki entry, making sure to properly label it as "non-official"?

Also, if the information is formatted into a nice table there won't be any need for cryptic abbreviations and headache-inducing colour codes.

And by non-official, I interpret that to mean don't give it the Hentai Verse Category which is something with which I agree, especially because I never want to see this page nor be forced to explain why you guys crapped out and stopped editing it after a week.

Also, keep track of MIDs, its a more reliable way of tracking monsters than just by name alone.

i volunteer to admit, there is one monster - my only monster - on the list, and of course, i'm willing to tell you: fumoffu. so you might aswell edit my name in so everybody can give me positive karma for being beaten by my monster. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I considered adding the owner, but decided to put the MID instead. The owner name doesn't help people recognize the monster itself, while the MID does. If people wanted to know who's monster is beating the crap out of them, they can check the MID against the full monster list (which I have graciously copied and pasted into the first line of the opening post).

Anyways, the more well-known monsters usually belong to the regulars on the forums. If you wanted your monster to make a name for you, what better way is there than to be active and participate on the forums? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

So a couple days ago, I created the wiki page like suggested, and after a few days of figuring crap out, I think I have a presentable page.


Apparently, 4 hours after I made the page, someone else decided to create a page as well, for the exact same purpose (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) So yeah, now there's two pages. They apparently put their page in the Hentaiverse category as well, which I don't plan to do with mine.


But anyway, here's my version of the page:

Anyone who likes formatting, please go ahead and improve the page as you see fit. I didn't do anything special with the table at all, and I notice in other pages, all kinda of weird stuff is going on with the tables found on them and that's a bit over my head right now.


For now, I'll keep updates to both this post and the wiki entry. Eventually I'll migrate over to the wiki only, which will only happen as soon as I'm not the sole person keeping these lists up-to-date. For anyone that feels like contributing, can I bug you to post here as well when you update the wiki page?

I added a snarky disclaimer to the other page.

I'm kinda tempted to steal that disclaimer (minus the snarkiness) and put it on my page as well, since it's never going to be 100% up-to-date.

Without the snark, the disclaimer meant nothing.

The snarky disclaimer doesn't mention the fact that there's a pre-existing page covering the exact same topic. An oversight?

To be fair, mine was only pre-existing for a few hours. I guess I should poke him and see if he wants to combine forces or anything. It seems quite silly if we both update our own list for the exact same purpose.
