If you've got 99% riddle 'grade' or something like that, then he says:
"Hmm, you got so many riddles right so it seems you deserve a second chance!" The second chance is a more difficult maze but better than losing 20 stamina because of one mistake among 99 right answers.
If you've got some stupid number like 4 wrong in a roll or 90%, he says:
"It's not like they're unsolvable - you're just lazy!" Then knocks you out for the day (0 stamina).
I agree that a second chance on another maze makes more sense than a plain freebie, but to effectively bot, even the freebies are useless because you get only 1 and have to grind for hours to get good XP and items. They'll get frustrated after only getting 15 rounds in item world before having to quit or risk losing stamina. And of course if you keep quiting right after losing mazes, that alone is suspicious. Actually, making "key mashing" bots is pretty low on the programming skills scale. Now, coming up with a way to play this game with a joystick or handheld game system... haha that would be priceless but still pretty basic stuff. The PSP for example has already had the hard work done for you - getting it to run your own software in the first place. Detecting "key mashers" can be damn easy, especially if you have copies of the scripts. And of course, a real human being can't stay awake for 24 hours so there's always that 'detection'! Although that might make me get in trouble for games like Evony that I had to quit for my health. "Noooo you can't have that city!" (IMG:[

Cheating in this game should be possible to reduce without causing regular players major grief. The captchas such as mangled words or simple mazes already make it harder I'd imagine. The most likely areas to be cheated with are high-rounds item worlds and grindfest, but I imagine there's some issue that made Tenboro put the mazes into the arena as well. A low-level item world could possibly be abused as well? I guess that's why they have mazes even though they have a "natural" limit to abuse. Namely, you only get so many a day!
