QUOTE(Ratio @ Apr 25 2011, 20:31) Monster lab monsters hit so much harder now... Esp. with the monster getting agitated. Bunko, Conquest and Vivit keep trying to rape me almost once every other battle.
Oh definately. I fought Bunko in regular grindfest earlier and at first I thought I was missing him because his HP wasn't budging. Turned out I was, it was just like trying to break a rock with one of those toy playskool hammers. I loathe the inetitable showdown when I have to face his ugly mug in the arena. I know at some point I am going to get buttfucked by the Tentacle Monster with his horrible rape in the arena (Not literally) This post has been edited by observer1980: Apr 26 2011, 02:53

QUOTE(Red_Piotrus @ Apr 25 2011, 17:36) I'll take the credit for it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks for posting (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Now we have all three Legendaries on the forums. I think your staff is the best. This is what legendary items should be. What about Tenb's Legendary Scythe of Slaughter? Granted, it's Tenb and thus unlikely ever to filter down to HV players, but it's still a legendary weapon...

Stamina regens gradually, like HP/MP/SP at a rate of 20 points daily.

QUOTE(cmdct @ Apr 25 2011, 20:06) Lol I know, max power, and mana recovery. That staff has almost the max mdm a destruction staff has, EDB above current non-EDB staffs limit, elemental proficiency almost the max of a elementalist staff, high INT/WIS, and the max ET possible for a Redwood. You know, just the dream staff.
no kidding now to work on maxing LotD

QUOTE - Three new Hath Perks, the Crystarium series, were added. These work by increasing the number of crystals you get from all monster drops. (Which, incidentally, is why crystals had a low sale value in the first place.) -- Each level increases the number of crystals received per drop to 2, 3 and 5, respectively. For those who have unlocked the Crystarium I perk, have you seen the crystal drops increase to 2 per drop? I'm still seeing a drop of one crystal. Yes, it takes a couple of minutes to update, I got a bit scared to at first, but then I was glad I could see the x2 crystal (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Just to remind anyone complaining about the loss of second winds: Both those and the gems were massive buffs that came without any monster re-balancing.

Can't say I'm liking the update about monsters hitting harder at low HP. It definitely needs some balancing like lower accuracy when agitated too.
After all, even if you're enraged from near-death, blood dripping into your eyes means you won't be able to see the opponent clearly to hit him, right? You won't be able to think straight either, so you'll just dive straight in without thinking on how to hit the opponent.

going from -50 to +50 really hurts. Bunko on hell in a exquisite item for example hits me for 150 when at full health, and it goes up to 600 when he gets agitated, and I'm pretty sure he is agitated right now. I am very afraid of getting crit by him.

I think people are missing the mark in regards to monster agitation. The monsters don't get "serious" until you hit them a few times. It's only natural that they do more damage then. It wouldn't make much sense if they got careless while near death and started missing.

You hardly have to get "careless" when you're near death for your hits to start going wide. You're near death, you're hardly at peak physical condition, and you're so angry that you'll be swinging wildly in a last-ditch attempt to take out your attacker before he takes you out. I think it makes perfect seance that they get a significant accuracy penalty as their agitation increases.

QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ Apr 25 2011, 11:00) 35 stat up and 31 energy drinks. How long until we start selling them to the lowbies for exorbitant prices?
When we max out stat ups I guess. It also depends on what the price of energy drinks ends up settling down as.

This should apply equally to players, of course.

Just finished todays arena challenge. Completely tore that place apart on normal setting. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Killing the standard monsters with two shots and getting 300 Exp and 30 credits per round from the Road Less Traveled level up to Apocalypse Soon was crazy. Also, I scored 3 blood tokens, 1 of which came from beating White Bunneh, and even now the ring of blood is giving double the exp what it used to. So between 14 levels of arena challenge and 3 Ring Of Blood battles I gained about 19,340 experience points (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) And just over 11,000 in credits. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Ever since the Easter Egg hunt started Friday night, my fighter has jumped ahead in the stats from all the blessings of SnowFlake, and raking in the credits let me get some needed upgrades. Old Stats: Str: 14 and 1 Dex: 4 and 2 Agi: 2 and 2 End: 2 and 4 Int: 4 and 1 Wis: 1 and 2 Tonights Stats: Str: 16 and 2 Dex: 4 and 2 Agi: 2 and 2 End 8 and 6 Int 4 and 1 Wis 1 and 3 Primary Weapon: Fine Club Of Slaughter Old stat Attack Damage Multiplier: 63.03 New Stat Attack Damage Multiplier: 104.34
