QUOTE(marcho @ Apr 25 2011, 20:19) I'd assume pre-nerf gear with quality outside of the current acceptable range could exceed that maximum quality and get a a quality rating above 1.
Don't know, but this suggest it isn't above the maximum quality: QUOTE(Tenboro @ Apr 25 2011, 18:47) Arrngrim. But he doesn't seem to be using it, it's lamenting at level 31. Then again, that could be because it would be the hardest Item World in the game, and likely forever will be.
Edit: QUOTE(Ichy @ Apr 25 2011, 20:33) I suggest we change it to a sudoku (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) If does change to sudoku, I demand 100 hath for each time I solve it. This post has been edited by cmdct: Apr 25 2011, 21:41

At least we don't have to solve the Rubik’s Cube. Damn, how I hate that thing.

If I write you a script to auto-solve it, will you give me a 10% commission?

As long as you're banned instead of me when the anti-cheater triggers (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) And duh, why I didn't remember that something like that could be done? I even made a C-written program which could solve classic Sokoban zillions of years ago. (School project)

I think that would be funny. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Mostly because I can solve the standard 3x3x3 cube in under 60 seconds.

I love your newfound sincerity of late. QUOTE(marcho @ Apr 25 2011, 15:23) But can you do it without looking, cube behind your back?
Is this good enough?

QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ Apr 25 2011, 15:32) Noice. But not what I asked in more ways than one D: But can you do it without looking, cube behind your back? Instead of mazes, could do a simpler visual puzzle, like ask which of the these shapes is a circle and and list a square, circle triangle and star A B C D to use the same solution entry mechanism. Would take legitimate players no time at all to solve, but bots shouldn't be able to.

Yea, something using any combination of shapes, colors, and letters/numbers and then being asked to identify something in the image (e.g. the background's color, the letter inside the triangle, the name of the shape that's green, etc.)

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Apr 25 2011, 03:46) - Cloak of the Fallen no longer gives full immunity to damage. Instead it triples your natural physical and magical absorption stats. QUOTE(Boggyb @ Apr 25 2011, 13:16) The point of Cloak of the Fallen was to prevent players from dying twice in a turn. I don't see how this change doesn't completely negate that. 1 21 You have been defeated. 1 20 Amphibious Sperm Whale crits you for 2989 crushing damage. 1 19 Your spike shield hits Fumoffu for 361 points of wind damage. 1 18 You gain the effect Cloak of the Fallen. 1 17 Your Spark of Life restores you from the brink of defeat. 1 16 Fumoffu hits you for 3499 slashing damage. 0 1 Initializing Item World (Round 129 / 313) ... 0 0 Battle Start! QUOTE(Boggyb @ Apr 25 2011, 13:16) YOU FUCKED UP

Can we get the ability to spend ability points on a auto refilling energy drink slot? You could put them in Tier 1, 10 since they have a unused slot.

QUOTE(cmdct @ Apr 25 2011, 20:09) So you're saying it have all stats maxed, in other words with "1" quality.
1.225, actually. And no, but Tens has an axe with 1.1708 quality, which seems to be the second highest in existence. Keep in mind that this was before the loot system changed, but it will still use the quality factor directly for the Item World, thus making it the hardest possible.

- Agitated status needs some tweaks. Definitely agree that it should be a dual-edged status where it trades something like accuracy or speed for the massive boost in damage it gets.
- The Calm debuff from attack is definitely great for single-target styles, but that's definitely gonna give 2H and Niten trouble. Will have to see if the PAD buff (OMG retroactive!) helps deal with Agitation.
- Second Winds, I will miss ye. ;_;
- Those mazes totally ruin the pace. Can they be simplified (I lost one because I derp'd and jumped a wall in my haste) or replaced with something that can be solved more quickly? I like the idea of shapes and colors. Because preschool was fun.
- And the "perk" for satisfying the Riddlemaster needs to be tweaked in accordance with how annoying the puzzle is. I think I would rather take HP/MP regen over a damage buff. Or getting items, instead.
- The monster selector still needs tweaking. I'm running into certain mobs from the same group almost every round.
- Why am I still getting AP from the Shrine?
- So if/when I put on my Heavy suit, my Curative is going to take a gigantic hit because my INT/WIS don't reduce Interference any more? That ain't cool, T-Bro. How are Tanks supposed to make a living if they can't tank OR heal the damage?
- I also agree about the changes to Cloak. The invincibility should stay, just reduced to 1 or 2 turns.
- Still on the fence about this whole Stamina business.
- The new Spirit Shield mechanics had me drooling retard for a second. Need to test it out to see how useful it really is in actual play.

A stamina system sound good for me. feel I spent less time but gain more credit. one more statistic may not made any major mess in my mind , yes , just one more. I though (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If possible, an icon which tracks enemy agitation would be nice.

I tend to run into the "Strong/Slow Retards" AKA Beasts/Giants in pretty much every single round.
Specific ones that I consistently run into: Aglowgolem Fat Bottomed Girls Lou Lupus Cowthulu Baasaakaa Gorp Rex
Just to name a few. I don't know about magic, but they're extremely frustrating to kill with melee unless you have Penetrated Armor on them. They'll still hit you quite hard unless you have high evade/parry/block, or they're stunned. So yeah, annoying.
