Selling the whole set has the advantage of bundle-selling those arena eggs (O,L,E) which is rather easy to get (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

As i may have said before, it's better for the high-level players to get the arena eggs while the lower-level players like me go to grind the grindfest eggs. This should benefit most for both parties
