Boy I hope I have luck over the weekend. I've done ~700 rounds of IW and ~500 rounds of Arena and only gotten one each of S-L-A-E (and I got the L in a trade for the single extra A I found). with the seemingly reduced drop rate since Thursday, I'm afraid I might not finish my set, especially since I don't tend to do Grindfests.

Got a extra L. Just got a O.

Odd you would say that about the drop rate. I got 0 eggs on Thursday, 3 eggs on Friday, then 7 eggs on Saturday (GMT time). I think it's just really random, and you need to keep grinding.


For myself, I'm heading out for the day for Easter Sunday, so I had to work triply hard to get this egg business finished before then, and even I managed it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Admittedly, I snagged two eggs off the bazaar and made a lot of 1 to 1 egg trades. My suggestion is get trading soon before everyone ends up sitting with their trade posts offering and asking for the exact same eggs.

Keep grinding at the lowest difficulty rate you can speed-clear. Like dkplee said, it's pretty random ; I had a much higher drop rate yesterday myself as well, but judging by the posts, some of us had incredibly bad luck yesterday and might have much more luck today.

And like cmdct said, having low Scavenger and Archaeologist levels might help as well if eggs are unaffected by them and come after regular artifacts in the drop check (which would roughly make it 4 times harder for someone with both trainings maxed to get an egg instead of a regular artifact if my math is right). If these aren't maxed out yet, don't train them for now so that you don't run the risk of lowering your drop chances some more. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

That's not what I said. If they are indeed a separated drop, the difference of having max scavenger vs none = 90/95=~0.947x rate decrease, and archeologist doesn't affect this.
What I said is, since we get much more artifacts with our high scavenger/archeologist trainings, we get less eggs for each normal artifact we get.
It's just a perception problem.
Anyway everyone are getting less eggs now, because they drop much less than they used to in the first day.

Still, I don't see why Tenboro would have lowered the drops all of a sudden. People are supposed to play more on weekends. Especially those who have a job.

Arena colddown is rigorous
i choose to exchange eggs or buy them not find them blindly we must think about time lost and involve lucky drop >_<
i think through exchange players can make mutual benefits between each other

It is pretty hard to collect all for low level players like me.
Anyway, I am missing o, f, a, k, e.

2 days of arenas = 800 rounds = 0 eggs. It's just ridiculous.
If you have doubled S, I'd pay 20k for it.

I hear you there! I think the folks that have lots of S W A must have the full Arenas available daily at their disposal...not me.

Actually, in my opinion, the eggs aren't affected at all by the training. I noticed that they always drop at the end of battles, never by a monster (whereas all items including artifacts are dropped by a monster). So IMO best way to increase chances of getting an egg is by doing as many rounds as possible instead of killing as many monsters as possible.

In any case, my current egg tally is:
2x O, 1x E, 2x L
