I watched it with low expectation, imagining it to be an average and quickly forgotten Netflix movie at best. It was quite better than I expected actually. The plot is simple but the movie is entertaining and well played. Not oscar-winning but definitely enjoyable.

Pinocchio by Guillermo Del Toro

Actually really good. I think it's the best Pinocchio movie I've seen. There are big changes from the original material but it makes an interesting retelling of the story (for example, they replaced the original Blue Fairy with two spirits, one looking like an angel who bestows life and the other who looks like a sphinx being Death). The film is both dark and sweet.

Scream 6, which I really liked.

I love the subtleties that the film sprinkles in, a lot of great cinematography and symbolism. It pays great homage to the original Scream and all the ones leading up to it. While 2 and 3 may feel like a blur, I think Scream 6 will really stand out, same way that Scream 1 did.
