flash point - average action movie with way too little fights.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

A cute, interesting pair of films which emphasize that growing old isn't the same as being dead, and that it's never too late to start again. I think Dame Judi Dench and Dev Patel really steal the show in both films, for all that Dame Maggie Smith has ALL the best lines in both films. The use of hindi is excellent for English-speaking audiences - no subtitles are needed to tell, contextually, what isn't immediately explained.

Don't watch the Second film without seeing the first one. Character development is central to both films, and the narrative requires some measure of emotional investiture in the characters to truly savor Penelope Wilton's character.

That said, she's a raging bitch, and I hate her (character). I think everyone else does, too.

Just finished watching Into The Woods, it was a fun interesting take on fairy tale classics.

Edge of Tomorrow. It was quite different compared to the light novel, but it was a good movie.

Fight Club ^w^
It's been five years since I've seen it, and I'd completely forgotten all about.
Forgot how much I love it.

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis.

I learned that being a sailor and barfighting is all someone needs to be equally skilled at combat as a person that has taken actual combat training.
And I have no idea why anyone wears armor if everyone is strong enough to just punch straight through it.

Say what you want about Kung-fu movies, their fight choreography sure beats anime and games.

Coincidentally that was also the last film I saw. You liked it enough to watch twice?

Attack the Block and Birdman.

Attack the Block - awful; terrible and unlikeable characters, script is bare bones, uninteresting aliens and ok action.
Birdman - Good, enjoyable plot, nice acting for the most part, ok plot but some scenes and characters interactions felt forced (like Sam and Mikes affair).
