Bosses and above have to be stronger then regular mobs.
I hope we will get different 'meet' Formula for Mini Bosses, Bosses and above or they will be just as strong and have some more HP.

Mini-bosses and above will always have more HP than custom monsters, unless some equivalent of HP Tank gets added to the Monster Lab.

Yeeah but they need to be stronger too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

It would be boring it the difference between normal monsters and bosses will just be HP.

I hate Bunko. Neither because it has high END, nor because is has high STR. It's the friggin power level. It's only 150, yet it's far more annoying than the 300+ PL's. (Due to STR and END.)
I think Tenboro should alter the way the PL is calculated to include unbalanced thorns like Bunko. Make the gain steeper as the stats go higher. So instead +3, +4, +5, etc change it to +2, +4, +6, +8, etc.
At least something to make these unblanaced annoyances be worth some exp to make up for the trouble.

I think that's not the real problem. An hard cap to the attack rating should exist. (bigger class, bigger the cap is) This rating it's the major cause of all losses.

I'd just like to see some kind of rotation where if you encounter Monster X and beat it, it gets kicked out of the encounter table for Y number of rounds so we can see more then the same dirty dozen that seem to constantly spawn over and over again.

The "problem" is that there was no forced update of power level after the last adjustment. Bunko and Conquest are two of the monsters that haven't been upgraded in order to exploit the change. They would both be in the 300s now with a properly calculated level, so you should treat them as such.

Really? Wow what an ass... It's no wonder then that thing doesn't die from a full blown spirit attack even if mini-bosses do.

I recalculated Bunko's power level, and it is actually 150. So it would have been upgraded at least once.

Conquest wasn't, though. But it is now.

Interesting. I've been keeping an eye on some of the custom monsters, but only since after the new calculation came into effect, so I don't know for sure which ones are still on the old system. I guess Bunko is sufficiently annoying that people just assumed his power level should be higher than it is...

The problem with Bunko and Giants in general is that Power Level is only based on added points and not innate points. At present, STR>END>>AGI = DEX >> 0 = INT = WIS as far as customs go. Once Tenboro adds skills that may change and Elementals become Mind Rapers on crack.

+10 STR and +10 END will put a Sprite roughly on level with a Giant with +1 STR. On a Giant they'll put it within 3 points of maximum stats at PL 150. I would not be surprised if that's what Bunko did.

The other issue is that Giants are designed to make life hell for melee; most low level players are melee. Mages just throw Chain Lightning or Hurricane at em.

Makes sense, given that Bunko has the same STR and AGI as Conquest, and considerably higher DEX.
