Would you rather read a doujinshi with simple colors like the example or no color at all?

I'll start doing a few de-censoring, and was pondering if I should color them as well, because it takes quite some time.

I’m leaning towards original greyscale, although there are exceptions where colors add something to the reading experience.

Your simple coloring looks pretty nice. The thing I dislike most about added colors is that color on original halftone gray rarely looks good; in your example, the gray is quite light and simple, so the effect of added color does not get so disturbing.

However, it is always good to remember that black-and-white comic design differs fundamentally from color design. Black-and-white comics are intended to communicate as such, and adding colors changes more than one might think – not necessarily for the better. Scott McCloud has written about the topic in his classic Understanding Comics, which I warmly recommend.

No color. This type here is just too of a distraction.

It is pretty interesting, for now I've read chapter 8 about colors, I'll read the rest when I have time, thanks for the recommendation.

Mate if you're willing to put in the effort do whatever the fuck you want.

You're donating your time.

Your time has a value because there is a finite amount of it.

Most people do not have the energy to do both the translation and colorization.

Coloring the manga has the highest burnout. ]

You can translate, decensor then colorize to get three gallery uploads of a popular gallery but not many people do that anymore.
