Btw, those things that look like swords are wands. Wands usually have something at the tip but I couldn't think of a way for her to carry wands but still be able to use it quickly so nothing at the ends.

I have no idea what the status of the older challenges are. Brain said he was working on a few things, and I have no idea if Real Life got in the way or what, much less for other Artists. :-X Loire, Lighterfly and GeekPower haven't been on since new years...

Anyways, one of the pics I was going to ask for was going to be for a friend of mine, who wanted drawings of her characters done. Here was a concept character she wanted drawn (As a full length picture of her character):

"Lilian" The Suli Rogue A Magical flirt distantly related to genies that likes to swipe hearts and valuables.
Base:

• Skin color: She wanted something dark, like cappachino or Mocha [[sadpanda.us] here]
• Hair color: She wanted an almost-white shade of blue that she saw on a teapot [[sadpanda.us] sample here]
• Hairstyle: I have no idea what this is called, but [sadpanda.us] this is what she wanted. He also added that she would like the hair to drape in front of her shoulders, like in the picture. (The length is supposed to be a few inches past shoulder length)
  Note: It's tote McGoats fine if you want to do a different hairstyle. I personally would've thought something like Korra's (from Avatar) hairstyle would've looked better. Your call.
• Body Type: She wanted her character to be shapely, but not have overly large boobs. (after pressing her for a bit, she suggested Salma Hayek from From Dusk Till Dawn [im.rediff.com] here)

Jewelry: (She had a few pieces of jewelry and piercings she wanted added. There are others, but lets just say that they're not visible. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) )

• Multiple ear piercings (Two silver studs, and third piercing with blue teardrop earrings [[img0.etsystatic.com] example]
• a bangle on her biceps, [img1.etsystatic.com] like in this picture
• a belly gem piercing over her naval. (Silver metal with a blue sapphire gem)
• [sadpanda.us] a silver chain necklace of this kind, long enough that the loose end of it goes into her shirt, or a
• A short sword along her back

Outfit:

• Boots: Black and go up to her calf. Polished and with a high heel (She's 5'1" in game... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ) and blue Leg warmers coming out of the top, up to her knees. ([2.bp.blogspot.com] Example)
• Shorts, [assets.davasion.com] like these. With a thin black belt that has several belt pouches on it
• A Short-sleeved belly shirt, [image.dhgate.com] like this, except not frilly (ideally, form-fitting). Also Blue.
• Long, elbow length black leather gloves ("Burglar Gloves"...)

She was thinking of adding a short, decorative vest on Lilian, because her character is distantly related to genies and she wants her to have some genie motifs in there, but doesn't know how it'd look.

If you'd be willing, would you please draw up some uncolored sketches of her with and without the vest that I could show her?
She has a hard time picturing which would look better. And if she liked the Vest better, then she'd want that one blue, and the shirt to be a lighter blue shade for contrast. But if she doesn't, then she want's the shirt to be blue...

Due Date: I'd like to have the Sketches or Linearts to show her by January 20th. And a Colored version done ideally by the 27th (Depending on if there are entries or whatnot, and what she thinks...)

Reward: As it's kinda a pain with how specific she wanted everything, I was putting up a reward of 150k credits for the sketches, and with another 100k for coloring

Trying out cowpies' challenge. Just a rough sketch, cleaning up takes too much time for me. Added a few tweaks on the original character description like the hair and some minor stuff.

So then, some minor things from the player:
- She wanted to know what the reasoning is behind the sharp ears (No comment on whether she liked or disliked them...)
- After looking at the sketches, she likes the version with the vest better.

And some minor things from me:
- good on you for adding heels on to the boots. I forgot that she said she'd like them.
- You forgot the necklace/collar... although looking back on the request, I seemed to have forgotten to finish that line. it was supposed to have read

a silver chain necklace of this kind, long enough that the loose end of it goes into her shirt, or a silver collar choker with sapphire studs [[fc08.deviantart.net] example]

Sorry about the error on my end. Would it be a problem for you to still add it in?
And looking at the length of her sword, I think I might've meant along the small of her back, like [2.bp.blogspot.com] this. But please don't change it yet till I can ask her about which one she'd prefer.

Also, the player will probably have more comments/questions/edits, and has asked for a little more time to think about it. She just started classes, and due to the polar vortex in the midwest cutting off two days, she's currently going from 5:30 am to about 5:30 pm, followed by 3 hours of homework before she drops out from exhaustion. Or, in her words "But I am lacking sleep so let me so it in more detail"
...So, yeah, I'll have to get back to you on that when she has a clearer mind. She was kinda loopy by the end of it.

But overall, she liked what she saw. So that's good.

It's part of the reason I made the two bits separate in the initial challenge, with the sketches worth a bit more :-X
