Why do you play HentaiVerse? I listed basic reasons in the poll but if you have a more elaborate reason, please explain. There could be one main reason or a few. What are they?

Probably the same reason I played Diablo 2 for years. Collecting shit and slowly becoming stronger.

Why do you play HentaiVerse?

That's actually a good question, I voted for 'other reason.' Guess I was simply amused at the fact that there was an actual RPG-ish game on a hentai site when I first joined. I've played lots of MMO's before and I just wanted to challenge myself and see how fast I could level in this game. Most games I've played are typical Korean MMO's where you grind endlessly for days just to get a single level and HV isn't your average browser game so I thought it would be a good change of pace and interesting to try it out. Ironically, HV ended up to be a grindfest just like the other games I've played, but only in browser form with no player skill involved.

I came back to try out the new patch but I'm already bored in less than a day. I guess I'm not as addicted to HV as I thought I'd be, which surprised me a little. And no, I won't be giving anything away, so don't bother asking.

I like playing games like HV for a good change. There aren't that many sites that have games which have classic feelings like HV these days.

Most people either prefer Facebook's Flash games or gaming consoles, but I feel games like HV makes me get to meet and trade stuff with people in the forum as well which makes bonds within community stronger. Yeah, this is why I keep playing. Fun in its own way, it is. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I like it. It's fun. Sure, sometimes you wanna rage quit, but it's still fun in the long run xD

To kill time when my friends didn't pay me a visit and all other form of entertainments failed, otherwise I'll play street fighter 3 (face-to-face, not online) or other competitive game instead. So sometime I might not play HV and disappear for quite a while before I return...


Since HV is my last resorts to get rid of boredom, I planned from the beginning to play this game slowly and as painful as possible.. It's keep thing fresh.

The voices in my head keep telling me to, I suspect foul play by Tenb, possibly some kind of voodoo magicks at work here. Still needs further investigation.

Where is my "I don't anymore" poll choice?

Because I hate my fucking life.

I enjoy playing. It's a good way to burn time when I have nothing else to do. If I just wanna leave for a while there's no penalty associated with that (getting behind or something of that nature). Plus it's interesting to see how the game develops over time.

I used to play it to be the highest level because I thought being that was cool, but now I see it as kind of lame and I feel sorry for those people who constantly have to play it to maintain their high level. I was addicted to it for so long and I don't think I ever really enjoyed it. Maybe a little bit but it felt more like a chore. Plus, it's really boring.

I don't play it so much anymore after the update that included that retarded Monster Lab. Ugh, that made it so junior high. I do my hourlies and I might play a few rounds in the arena here and there but only if I have nothing better to do.

I don't see any hentai in there, the hentai is in the galleries.

Why do people devote so much time to HV when they could be playing a video game that has pictures and sound? If I was an actual gamer, I would think HV was primitive. Must be the allure of collecting all that imaginary stuff. Why is that so fucking addicting?

Just my feeling, it gives an old 'classic' board game feelings which you have to imagine everything by yourself. to me, it's fun in its own way (I still play my PS3 and PC games though).

Personally, if I wanted an old classic 'board game' feeling, I'd play life or monopoly. I just love imagining having the peasants grovel at my feet to not sell their homes for more money while I stroll around in my tophat, boot and wheelbarrow.

Unfortunately, I do not have a monocle to complete the ensemble.
